I ordered COCYTUS and when I got the paypal request I noticed the name it's sent from is Satoko Shimizu. is that his real name? or does he use his wife's name? since Satoko is supposedly a female name.
Check the credits of any Schwarz Stein CD, Satoko is Hora's longtime staffer. She's been around at least since they joined Midi:Nette.

Yeah, she's definitely a real female person who is not Hora. That's definitely not Hora's first name lol. We like to joke about them being married but there's no proof of that either.
tbh after reading the album review I'm not sold on it. The last one seemed like Hora was expanding a bit and I was hoping he would continue and do some new stuff. It sounds like that's not the case. Though I'm intrigued by Frost and Babel...gonna wait until someone uploads it to give it a test listen I guess. Like, I'd like to buy it. But for some reason I feel like buying the cd just to support him even if I don't really like it is not respectful to either party? I dunno.

Oh ok I don't have any SS CDs yet so i wasn't aware. Does that mean it's not Hora i'm corresponding with when i order a CD and he doesn't actually mail it? dang! ::kisaki::
Yeah, Hora himself doesn't write the order confirmation emails. He might be the one who hauls them all to the post office though, who knows 
I've had mails signed Hora...once I think, so I bet he has done it...when he have had a lot of free time or something x)
I thought it was so quaint when I got mailed PROMINENCE, the first two letters of my name were miswritten so they were scribbled out and it was re-written, but if it wasn't even him that makes it not as quaint 
I'm sure Satoko is a wonderful person though...
as for the maybe-joking-maybe-not talk of Satoko being his wife, the reason I suspected wife is because on his profile on generasia.com/wiki/Hora it says he has a wife and a son, and I'm assuming it's true otherwise probably no one would've written it.
I hope I get a signed photo because I don't have anything signed by him

Impressions on opening the CD:
wow, what a cover! it's very striking when i first pulled it out. the booklet is minimal, as usual, and my photo wasn't signed.... features hora looking dark. i love the presentation here, as well as the vicious track names on the sleeve.
music:
babel is the track with vocals, which are repeated more like an instrument layer. sounds like an abstract cover of ignition.
there's only one song with string synth!!! the rest, he seems to opt for either piano or very slick techno tracks. more guitar riffs. awesome
this album has a playful, techno, and badass feel. even though it's still sticking to his formula, fans of HORA should appreciate what he has here. i figured if he's using his face on the cover he's proud of this release, and you can tell through his use of vocals, cool track names, and overall polish.
Pray To God - Heir- is my favorite track after first listen, and also the last track of the album. It is very easy to get lost in, quite divine!

in my email that i thought was to Hora but was apparently to Satoko, i requested she include a smiley face when they mail my order. i'm looking forward to seeing if they did.

No, the photo was only for the 100first copies, so I'm guessing he sold that, and that he forgot that he said the photos would be signed...
