Did you have idea about it? I just found about this, but it seems to be re-released last year.

Honestly I'm not sure if it's Klaha himself who is behind all of this, but if you want to show some love and support anyway, here's a new option and opportunity.

Here are some links:

Going to need a Klaha expert to weigh in on the licensing/rights status of Klaha's catalogue. Was his music released on his own label or an imprint? I noticed that Marchen was originally released through SYZGY and this is through artlance/untrend.

Maybe if the parent rights transferred then it is feasible that the back catalogue would be re-released, but I can't find anything else that has been released on that label.

I found this Facebook https://ja-jp.facebook.com/yamamoto.s4mg, he was involved with UN TREND (here written as two words) and seems to have been heavily involved with Klaha back in the day and is now connected to S4MG.

So to me it seems like the portfolio is now managed by S4MG and they finally have gotten around to re-releasing it. As to why now and not earlier, who knows.

I wonder if someone has just decided to jack the recordings and sell it themselves, I've heard of musicians releasing their music on YouTube and it somehow ending up on Spotify/Amazon/iTunes without their knowledge.

I just took a look at the original CDs, and all of them were through artlance/Syzygy. His first 2 CDs have "ENSEMBLE" in the mix too, but that seems to have been dropped for "setsubou".
If I had to guess I'd say the release is legit (who would have known to guess the S4MG connection otherwise?), but I have no clue why they wouldn't have released at least "Nostal Lab" at the same time.

Interesting. Being legit or not, I deducted that the re-releasing could be done by somebody from Japan since TuneCore Japan is, as far as I know, a Japanese equivalent to CD Baby.

Also, did you notice the Youtube link in that Tunecore page?
Seems like S4MG actually had Klaha's "Marchen" video up (in lousy quality) since 2009 and no one noticed.

EDIT: hey, I didn't know Klaha was on the same label as Nihon Break Kogyo
BREAK OUT!!!!!

I was listening to a Klaha song when I remembered it's on iTunes, and I went to check it again, just in case. I found that the profile is blank, the trials of the songs are still working, but if you search for Klaha in itunes, it does not appear, it only appears if you search for it directly in google.

I also checked Google Play Music and Amazon, and in one it says that it does not exist and in the other it says that the album has 0 songs and that the artist does not exist.

Currently it only appears on YouTube and on some Japanese pages, but I didn't check there in greater depth, because I don't know anything about Japanese.

Not even English, but I wanted to comment on this, to see if anyone has an opinion.

It always seemed strange to me that only "marchën" was available, and every once in a while I liked to check if they had put nostal lab or if at least they had put that album on spotify, and I found this, which seems even more strange to me.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/theme/promotion_gpm_shutdown_ctp (And now as I write this I realized that what happened was that Google music no longer exists, sorry, but the itunes and amazon thing still seems strange to me)
https://www.amazon.com/music/player/artists/B071JFWX3K/klaha

Something happened on amazon, two days ago when I noticed this, it appeared available to buy in MP3 format, just like that. But now it's available to buy on CD (and supposedly on sale since 2012), but it keeps saying the artist doesn't exist. (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00008ILOI/ref=dm_rwp_pur_lnd_albm_unrg)

First off, welcome aboard :)

I wouldn't read too much into it. It seems to me like the label (or rights holding company or whatever) is just doing automated processing of its back catalogue and letting the chips fall where they may. I doubt anyone specifically decided to put Klaha on Itunes or take him off.
