I believe Kami was a drummer all his life though, or close to it. He had apparently won awards for his traditional-style drumming before joining the VK scene. Maybe Sakura taught him rock drumming specifically?

You are probably right. I remember reading an interview or something that said Kami had trouble at first playing with the band. Might be why he was a support drummer for the first six months. Glad it worked out.

If anything, I thought Tetsu would have been the most likely vocalist to make an unexpected return for a one-night only event for a few reasons:

-He's still friendly with Kozi, there was that long interview with the two of the some years back
-Tetsu sang a few MM songs at some acoustic solo shows back in 2010 so he still must have some affinity towards them
-He currently performs in 4 active bands and does one off solo shows here and there.
-Sakura, the guest drummer, is in Zigzo alongside Tetsu! It almost seems silly that Sakura would be performing songs that Tetsu originally sang over.

That reminds me, I haven't listened to memoire in a few years...time to give it a 'spin'!

Maybe he will? Mana does like surprises and Tetsu showing up would be an extraordinary one.
Sounds like they may do Illuminaty based on Mana tweeting he has to practice playing a whip again. Any guesses as to who would sing it? I'm thinking Shuji.

Mana has updated the Malice Mizer website with details regarding tickets for this Deep Sanctuary

http://www.malice-mizer.co.jp/

Different seating arrangement this time. In that there will actually be seats. Three tiers of seats and standing. And they will be using smart phone e-tickets along with paper tickets. So Mana did make changes in how the ticketing is done. I hope it helps people get tickets.

Also it is officially the Malice Mizer 25th Anniversary Special.

And they rose the price a bit ! xD

Well the venue is pretty big (for them) Gackt, the Gazette (Versailles tried) use this venue ;) So booking this venue requires funding (and pretty huge). So, I guess they do the application quite early to cover a part of it.

But its not so early. We had to apply for the next MdM concert by the beginning of december (and they also rose the price a bit xD).

Yup. It was also March when the tickets were put up for sale for the last Deep Sactuary. That was at Asakasa Blitz which sold out. Having some seating this time will be a good thing since not everyone can stand the whole time.

I'm glad to see the changes. I feel like Mana has been listening to fans. Except of course the price going up but that is probably from a lot of different factors. I really hope the overseas thing will become set for all the shows. Although that might be difficult for the smaller venues.

More information regarding the tickets will be given soon. I'm going to guess that e+ tickets are very much like e-tickets here in the US with either a bar code or a QR code that will be scanned at the entrance of the venue. Since there is an app involved, it may mean tickets are not transferable to another person. As for overseas, e+ does handle some events in English so most likely they will just have an English page for those purchases. I do not know if they will require picking up the ticket once you are in Japan. My one experience with that is that I did have to go to a konbini after I received an confirmation email. It was very easy.

I guess the Olympics is good for something. It's getting businesses like e+ to be more open to people outside of Japan.

especially since they updated their service late last year :P I had registered to e+ using a friends phonenumber (since they don't accept foreign numbers) then they changed the system and required you'd have to confirm through a text message, problem is my friends phone has been long gone for years :P so I really appreciate if they'd make something so that pre ordering tickets will be possible even for foreigners :P
I guess it's not too early...I'm used to SS who starts ticket sales like 2 months before the actual gig XD I really want to attend this, but I probably won't go just for it. If I'm lucky my school will tell me if I made it before the ticket due date XD

The Moi-meme-Moitie Facebook page was updated this morning with this:

***
Overseas fans will be able to enter the ticket lottery through Moi-même-Moitié.
Details will be announced next week.
***

So, there will be a lottery involved to get the tickets :| I hope to win one, because this will be my first trip abroad, and I'm already planning my trip xD
