Who knows xD
At least they're doing something other than their usual annual event concerts.

Was the Russian concert bad? From what I can tell they have a pretty good number of anime/Japan stuff fans there so I don't think it's too weird of a choice.
I dunno what the weeb scene is like in HK though.

There was are at least 2 rows of dudes in front of the stage, and all the rest drunken xD. MdM seemed so out-of-place to me in that show.

I really hope this ticket vendor for the Hong Kong concert works out because they have an English version of how to buy the tickets along with taking credit cards and paypal. The problem with the Deep Sanctuary V concert is there was no way anyone not living in Japan could get tickets. Even my friend there who is fluent in Japanese had trouble getting tickets.

Would be great if Mana had a better way of buying tickets because they will probably be on tour in Japan either later this year or next.

Yeah, that's true for almost all tickets in Japan. The one time I had to buy tickets on my own without a contact there, I actually had to wait for scalpers to start selling them on YJ. ::hora::

Well, that's not really Mana's problem to sort out, it's Japan's :P Almost no band has tickets available from overseas. The only ones I was able to get by myself was Jupiter through Rakuten and Buck-tick because I'm a fanclub member :P Otherwise all of us living outside of Japan are screwed.

I'm not sure there is really all that much money in operating a ticket sales site in Japanese and English for most venues in Japan, to be honest. I don't know how much it would cost to create and maintain, but I don't think it would be worth the cost of the few foreigners that actually would go to these events. Japanese fans are usually happy using the Loppi system that you can use in Japan nationally (Or whatever the FamilyMart equivalent was) Most venues probably assume if you're not already in the country, you're not going to the show.

I imagine if someone made a service where they bought tickets for foreign fans in a Celga style they could make some extra money, but I don't think it would be especially lucrative ^^;

Beast Side was the third song played (after The Seventh Veil and front et baiser) and I noticed Ryux trying to make various references to K during the song. Whenever Seth sang the lyrics "Rest in Peace" Ryux would make the sign of the cross like people do in churches when praying. He was also covering his ears at some point, but I don't quite understand why. Furthremore, just like he does at the concerts in Japan, Ryux had his small silver skull accessory he uses as a prop to represent K!
I admittedly haven't seen this in person, but it all sounds kind of weird and awkward. Maybe that's how K would like to be remembered, but... I dunno :undecided:
