A brasilian agency is asking people if they want MdM in Brasil the next year (because there are people who don't (?)) haha
For now it seems to be only a probing, not an official promotion, what do you think?

As with every attempt to bring Mana to South America

I never understood this, is J-related stuff quite popular there?

Maybe it is just because I'm in Australia and we're lucky to even get big bands out here.

That said, I remember Kozi played a nightclub in Adelaide (with EoD) and I think Gackt was at the Opera house at one point.

Visual seems to be pretty popular there, and a bunch of other bands have been brought over, but every time someone tries to bring Mana, it's a complete disaster and never gets off the ground XD

Paging @voixdinferno to the thread! (email me to get your password fixed)

I'm sharing that to everyone I know right now.

I don't think Moi Dix Mois is so popular in Brazil nowadays, since J-rock hype has been long gone, but I'm pretty sure tickets will be sold out fast. Although The GazettE is not that popular here either, VIP tickets get sold out in minutes and people start lining up 16 hours before their concerts. Oo

Someone added me in an international WhatsApp group about Malice Mizer and I got surprised to know I was the only Brazilian: everyone else is from Spanish-speaker countries (except Spain LOL). It seems to me that this agency is also organizing Jupiter's tour to Argentina, so a nice positive response in this probing may benefit other American countries. Sadly, I don't think I was able to convince other members of the group to comment in that post... my bad Spanish didn't help at all. :(

EDIT: Tour in Hell is organizing Jupiter's tour to Chile as well

It boggles my mind, I don't think we have anything like that here.

Someone who organize tours? Maybe that's a good thing if Jrock isn't popular in Australia :P Have to tell you, when it's not getting a crowd....it just turns into an embarrassment -.-' I'm acctually glad bands I acctually listen to don't come here X)

Oh we have tour organisers, it is just that J-stuff is such a niche interest (outside of anime and manga .etc) here that there being enough demand to bring a band out, or it being so popular that people know about it.

Actually, now that I think about it, Asian pop has been getting more and visible here lately, but I'm not sure if that is due to it becoming popular, or the rapidly growing Asian population.
