I went to a NYC Women Filmmakers monthly meeting because it was at NYU so I thought why not. It was really interesting @_@ I'm not a filmmaker, but I thought because I'd learn about it this summer I'd get to know people and learn what I can.

When I introduced myself they said, "Wow, you do everything!" XD I made new friends and I thought they were an admirable community. The lead woman, Cidney, gives feedback for everyone and remembers things others send her. They give each other feedback on scripts, bounce ideas off each other, and help out with advice or leads. It reminds me of those old-fashioned groups (maybe like the Bloomsbury one Virginia Woolf was a part of) where artists got together and discussed their projects. I didn't even think those existed anymore. And they were all very nice to me!

It was much more intense than I thought it would be! They went around the room discussing what their brand is and what they're currently working on, and I enjoyed listening as a noob. They've all already done films, and they're at different levels and ages. It made me actually think about what I wanted to do and what my style is, at least in my photography so far.

After we left the Tisch building one girl and I walked together a couple of blocks and she actually does more photography and acting than filmmaking so we talked about that. She was very nice and told me about where she finds her latest gigs and she said, "Keep me posted!" on whatever I do. And I felt great to be at NYU at night again and walk up those blocks to Union Square to hop on a cab.

I also saw Ting Ting and we had a great time at Riko's Peruvian Cuisine which I must say is much better than the Peruvian chain Pio Pio. MUCH more delicious and cheaper too!

I can't believe she's a law student now. SHE'S ALL GROWN UP!

She had to attend an orientation session on "how not to be biased." She asked the instructor afterwards what she can do when she feels offended at something. The instructor said she doesn't like confrontation so don't say anything because it'll make the offender feel uncomfortable. Ting Ting didn't understand what the point of the whole thing was then.

She said her classmates are very optimistic and excited to be in NYC and it was a little strange to her because she's been here a while. I said I wished more people were like that. I wished my classmates were like that, haha. I find many of my classmates, at least during class, are cynical and *I'm* the one who doesn't think something is so bad or I have hope. And I'm still excited to be here!

I gave her tips on the writing competition (which I actually have to grade now that I'm an associate editor, hooah), outlines, and to not stress herself out during her first year. MAINTAIN BALANCE! She told me how she's already worried about her summer internships, haha. What a nerd! But she has things set up for her and she's ready. I know she'll be fine!

She said so many exciting things are happening to me and I thought she was so nice. She's coming to my photography shows and she can't believe I'm going to China without her, aw. I said I'll go on the People's Park rides alone!

She hopes to bump into Richard at one of the photography shows, oh god XD I don't know which one he's coming to or if he's going to both though!

She also said whenever I talk about him my face gets cute. Oh God. I said I'll see how it goes, but he really means a lot to me and I love spending time with him, even if we're just going to the grocery store. I'm also very attracted to him! She said he also has the patience of a saint.

She said she hopes to find something that sweet. I said I can't wait to meet Timothy, her future beloved. She said she would never date a Timothy, but I said, "Timothy and Ting Ting request the honor of your presence at our wedding." XD

She did reveal someone she liked, but who isn't in the state right now but is coming back next year. Oh boy. She said she'll keep an open mind and I agreed. Who knows, maybe she'll find someone in law school! We then walked all the way to Bryant Park and I had such a good time with her! (She also lugged all the supplements I brought her! :))

I also did major shopping and bought four pairs of heels/flats that are adorable and sexy. I can't wait to wear them. I start my first day at the internship in a few hours so I'll go now... I'll be in Connecticut this weekend to go to a casino and meet Al Pacino. I have VIP tickets so I'll get to meet him after his show!

PAGING WANdERING FOX!! YOUR IMMEdIATE HELP IS NEEdEd!

Since the new Pokemon Sun and Moon is going to be set in Hawaii with customizable players, can you please try to convince them that

1. The skin tones should be black, mid-tone, asian, and sunburn

2. There should be a pokemon named bolapoi

Also blue hair option and a league champion who's based off of Izzy would be nice. Just saying.

That is normal over here. XD

I think most Japanese ignore traffic lights... at least in good old Osaka.

Most of my students are confused when I tell them, that our shops are closed on holidays... and I mean everything... really everything... nevertheless, they are still surprised about it when they go to good old G during christmas season and realize that they can't buy food for a couple of days. ::meev::

One of my students sent me and another instructor sweets... (I feel guilty for telling her "I want some miage when you go abroad, because I actually said it as a joke... and he did the same. XD)

I want to get a case for my Jeune Fille, but I don't know if ESP sell them separately to the guitar, let alone the postage cost of getting it over here.

I'll totally bring it up in a meeting, but I couldn't even get them to cast Danny DeVito as Pikachu in Pikachu Detective, so I doubt they'll listen to me...

But I think you'll be happy to see this if you haven't already: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2r0_F-_ClcQ ::weepy::

Yup! Starter kitty!!!!
Other than that...I dunno. I'd rather go there than watch a kid do it.
Heck, I'd even hang out with a bunch of 12 year olds and play Pokemon over there if it meant a vacation

Still, you can do it!!!!

Today I asked my co-worker whether she wants to have a cup of coffee and wether she still wanted to go to a concert with me (next month).

She said that she is too busy and that she does not have time before August (She knows that I might leave in August.....) and that she does not want to go to a concert with me anymore... I was kinda annoyed and made a list with everything she did, which we consider as "gayish behaviour" stating that this was the reason why I asked her whether she was gay.

Then I also wrote her, that I think she avoids me and treats me ... as if had a communicable disease and that I don't want somebody as a friend who behaves as she was scared of me. Especially because her behaviour is quite homophobic (which is funny, since I never said that I have a crush on her and told her that I never had anything with a woman), either because of her upbringing or because she is in denial.

As result she came to me with the paper, saying that she cannot understand why I wrote that to her and that she is reallly busy for the next two months.... Seriously, who is too busy for a cup of coffee (30 min) for 3 months?

Now I am really fed up with her. I won't talk to her again. I am done.

You wrote a list on paper of "This is how gay you are"?

Un..kinda. ::kisaki:: My Korean friend and one French friend suggested that she is sending wrong signals with her behaviour and that she might not know it and said that it might be better when she knew.... Maybe I just should not listen to my friends. ::gaku::

Well, put it this way. did you want to write her that letter?
If so, then it was a good thing anyway.

But yeah. Even when I am really, really busy I make time for my friends...sometimes even a month later, but if they seem hurt I'll try to invite them to something I'm already doing with my other friends.
So she's not being honest and I'm glad you've decided to drop her.
I'm sorry it happened this way though.

Edit: This can cheer you up. Eris would be proud.

It's the Sunday afternoon before my last 4 days of senior year and I'm feeling nostalgic/sad about all of this :-( not like depressed sad but more of a happy sad if that makes sense lol.

This has been a great last year of high school going on trips and stuff. To make thie post related to Scape, I should bring up that my girlfriend bought me Merveilles for Christmas (I know, big shock I didn't already have it) and my parents got me Märchen for my birthday!!! I was especially hyped for Märchen as it came with this sick sticker I want to put on my first car lol.

Idk sorry for intruding on this conversation but I wanted to share this with my Scape homies lol

EDIT: I just realized I ended all three of my paragraphs with lol, I need to reevaluate my life ::gaku::

@ Faith I perfectly can understand people who are busy for one month... but 3?
She was too busy to say hi to me at work, despite sitting next to me. However she was able to talk to the guy sitting behind me. ::meev::

@Jason It is great that you enjoyed your last year in High School. I can understand why you are nostalgic about it. I think it is a quite unique time to leave High School.

What kind of car do you want to get?

@shazzer yes it was a great year of my life and I will miss it :), and my dad bought a red 1964 Mustang a few years ago and I think he's still deciding if I'm going to inherit it. Recently he's been Leaning towards yes so I'm happy!

@flowers I have no idea lol, I don't even know if I want to go through with it anymore as I don't want to waste that sticker and I don't want to damage the car ::hora::

@ Jason you could make a copy of a picture you like (for example the sticker) put some sticker foil? Not sure how it is called on top and stick that somewhere on your car. I did that with my pc and parts of my car. My mum at one point had her car plastered with cute animal pictures. ::meev::

Off in the distance staring dramatically at the sky ;)

It's too bad his solo work never took off, as it was really getting better and better with each release. I have the feeling it kind of suffered from not being able to attract the right audience. It was always in the VK section because of his relation to Malice Mizer, but he wasn't VK. It didn't really sound like his previous work, and a lot of fans were kind of tuned off by Nostal Labs. He probably would have been better represented in the Pop section

alternatively, sucked into the kitchen remodelling cycle for all eternity.
Once you start the renovations, you always just want one more...

I was genuinely a little disappointed no one questioned my statement where I implied that I have friends btw, since I'm such a grumpy bastard most of the time.
I wanted another opportunity to be a grumpy bastard.
Boooh.
