scapeforums.com load so slooooow

I have a connection of 10Mbits, but regardless from where I check the site (from my fone, office desktop, laptop at home) the forum load sooo sloooow I count almost 8 seconds of loading time.

there is a problem with the server? I can help, I spend my entire day, every day solving problems with apache, linux, databases, webservices, java uffff

I see some delays sometimes but not 8 seconds. I'll check it out this weekend or something, it might be something with the phpBB database. I think maybe something with the search feature can slow things down, but it's been forever since I looked into it. The other stuff I have on the server isn't slow so I think it is just the database.

I've also experienced this when I'm signing in! And like voixdinferno says, sometimes it's up to 8 sec!

It seems to come and go, maybe I just need to go yell at the web hosting people or something

We're getting moved to a faster server sometime next week, so hopefully that will take care of the performance issues.
