EDIT: This thread is not about live recordings by fans, also called bootlegs, but bootleg physical releases.
Hello!
Please tell me if this topic is not allowed, since it's about somewhat illegal subjects. PLEZE NO BANHAMMA!
And, if this topic exists, in all of the years of this online community, pleze merge it.

Here is the topic for MALICE MIZER or related bootleg releases.
Some bootleg releases were produced a lot.

I know of three.
The most famous bootleg is Taiwanese Memoire + Voyage sans retour, and it really bothers me they spelled "Memoire" with a capital M...
There are two versions of this one, one by Ever Anime International Records ‎– NP-021 and by Miya Records ‎– MICP-0003. Both released 2003, both are bootleg labels. For some reason I think the same people were behind two pressings, since it's all very sketchy. At least they got the tracklist right with correct capitalization.

There's also this very weird bootleg, the title seems to be 單曲全集 which is "complete single" or "complete songs" in Chinese (according to Goo00Ogel translate. A language expert (Sarah from Manasama.net) Has looked at the pictures and given me the kanji of it, she says it's Chinese, even though three of the four characters exist in JP Kanji. So a bet of me is that this bootleg CD is from China. It contains the Uruwashi/Après-Midi single, Bel Air song, au revoir and Gekka singles and if I'm correct Voyage sans retour minus Zencho. On the pictures, it seems like it has an OBI, is that right? Which is weird because I don't think Chinese CD's have OBI's, I might be wrong tho.

I know there's also a Taiwanese bootleg of merveilles, I saw it on discogs a while, but it got removed...

Now, one doubt case would be the Après-Midi, or APRES MIDI cassette. A lot believe it was very limited printed for promotional use. But I have seen some pics of promotional cassettes of Bel Air, Gekka, merveilles and Kyomu (sadly own none), and these promotional casettes just have one plain colour and plain text on the paper/cover of the cassette, so it would be weird to have one aesthetically pleasing looking promotional casette. I don't know what promotional casettes actually get used for: Are they given to the public? Or are they given to reviewers, stores and radio stations? Maybe the APRES MIDI, if promotional, was actually distributed or something, I have no idea. The other opinion that some have, is that it's a bootleg, which is why I included it here. But if it's a bootleg, and I'm personally kinda leaning towards that, have multiple been printed? Or just one?

I am personally very interested in owning all of these bootlegs. I know it's illegal, and not supporting the band in any way, but t hey look pretty cool, especially the Memoire + Voyage sans retour one. And the "complete single" one seems like a very fun one to put in my CD player to enjoy. I have in fact bought the "complete single" one on Mercari for 3000JPY, and the pics I uploaded on imgur are those. Can anyone confirm that it has an OBI on the pics? It looks like it, but I'm not sure. I recently saw one of these "complete single" ones on Yahoo Auctions for 5000JPY. But I can't find it anymore, maybe it's removed (illegal), maybe it's sold, but I probably just missed it browsing through the 7 pages lol. Can anyone link it if it's still there? I'd like to see if it had/has an OBI.
I'm also interested in buying Memoire + Voyage sans retour, but I could only find a copy without OBI. Does anyone know if this bootleg ever came with an OBI? Since if it never comes with one (Taiwanese), then I'll buy it.

I think it's funny how bootleg releases can become expensive and rare collectors items haha.
Especially that APRES MIDI tape, I bet if it appeared on auctions, it could go up high.

I'm sure there's more bootlegs I don't know about! Share here!

I think we don't need a topic about bootleg collecting. If you must, just burn your own mix CD rather than putting dollars in the pockets of Taiwanese pirates.
There were also some bootleg DVDs - same sort of deal as the CDs.
