I get streetpasses all the time when I bring my DS out with me. I tend to get the most when I'm in Little Tokyo ::meev::
And if there's a train that goes through there, you could rack up some really stratospheric numbers on it ::meev::

Started the second island on PKMN, and it seems like this is never going to be any sort of challenge. I've just kind of been on cruise control the whole way so far.
Almost done with the Hakkun translation meanwhile, the only things left are the true ending and the title screen. *whew*

Definitively finished the translation:

20408.jpg

Complete with a 100% savefile, I can rest easy now ::meev::

Finishing up PKMN Sun here, and also started... yet another late-generation Super Famicom puzzler:
POWER SOKOBAN
https://www.nintendo.co.jp/n02/shvc/bpsj/index.html
Sort of like regular Sokoban, except there are enemies and you can shoot energy balls that you can control in midair (which can also be used to push blocks). I'm hooked already :|

Already? I just hit the third island!
Well surely you must be finished by now, right? :|

Finished up tonight with "Power Sokoban", and also with "River City: Tokyo Rumble" XD
The latter was a lot of fun, especially if you're the kind of geezer who had the original NES "River City Ransom" (or, "Street Gangs"). The game was kind of short, but really it probably would have gotten boring if it was much longer.

I've started playing (and have become incredibly addicted to) Stardew Valley for the PS. Are there any other SDV players here? If so, are you dating/married yet? I married the scientist Maru and so far she's an a-okay wife ::gaku::

I was a big fan of Harvest Moon so when SV launched I was hooked for hours. I believe I made it halfway through the second year before petering off. I was courting Abigail though, I don't think I had her at marriage level yet though.

Great choices! I've been playing FF XV in between Stardew Valley and it's wonderful! Loving the graphics and story!

I played it a ton a while ago, the combat was super fun and I just loved exploring the mines. I ended up marrying Seb, he was pretty cute. Almost went with Leah though.

Oh, I love exploring the mines, too! That's probably my favorite part of the game.

As for Sebastian, he was actually one of my first choices for a partner/husband (he IS totally cute!), but unfortunately he was always way too pensive and moody, so I had to move on.

Pensive and moody is exactly my type orz I just wish he was easier to find. Tbh that was a problem I had with a lot of people, I still don't know where Harvey is when he's not working. I can never find Emily when I'm looking for her. How are these people so stealthy.

Ha! That's my type in real life, so I wasn't looking for a challenge in the game. I wanted a little less ::mana:: and a little more ::gaku:: in my game play . As for Harvey, he usually hangs out at the edge of the river when he's not working or he's in his bedroom/kitchen.

As for Emily, she's usually working at the saloon or in her bedroom!

There is a mod for the PC version that helps with that... otherwise you'll probably need a guide for the console version.

Speaking of guides, there is an awesome Kari Fry x Fangamer one available! https://www.fangamer.com/products/stardew-valley-guidebook I bought my friend the Pokémon and Animal Crossing ones that they put out and they're both fantastic!

Dyin' here

I played "Rune Factory Frontier" a few years back and that gave me my fill of farming-romance games for one lifetime. *shrug*

I got Plants vs. Zombies 2, but I only played it once and started playing Rainbow Six Siege again... XD I think I should give Plants vs. Zombies another go, but it just seems I'm not that great in it even though I did improve a bit.

I think what also makes Siege different for me is that it's based on skill rather than who can buy power ups and things like that. The most you can buy are accessories, which everyone already has, but they don't do as much for your weapons and you can't buy any form of armor or something that helps you shoot better or whatever. It's either on your character already or it's not. So it's up to how well you actually play. Whereas in P vs. Z I saw people with all sorts of upgrades and things I had to work towards (unless I saw wrong) and starting from level 0 was kind of disheartening XD It's disheartening when you're placed into battle with all of them!

BUT I want to give it another go and try out the story mode too. I might enjoy that more.

I also got Rocket League, which I enjoyed more than Plants, but again, I went back to Siege. Rocket League is actually pretty fun and it's like soccer for cars. I actually did a few goals after playing it for some time.

Aaaaand I'm still unable to finish Sid Meier's "Pirates!" game for the iPad. OMG I'm so bad. I have the last sword fight with the evil Raymondo (I think that's his name), but I still can't beat him. :( I'm always SO close and about to kill him, one hit away, but then he manages to hit me and then keeps going and I lose momentum. UGH. It doesn't help that the game ages your character so I think when I'm in my 90s I'll beat him. Totally.

SOMEDAY I'LL GET YOU!!!!

But the ball dances are so much fun still. I'm such a charmer with the ladies, even though I'm married to my Barbados Beauty~

I had a weird itch for a racing game, so I've been playing Need for Speed: Rivals, almost completed the racer campaign... couldn't really get into the cop campaign at all.

Got "Shantae and the Pirate's Curse" for 3DS as a late Xmas gift here! This series gets a lot of hype but I guess it's justified to some extent, it is indeed pretty fun. Most platforming games these days don't get it right, mechanics-wise, but this one does.
