Zelda: Breath of the Wild on the Switch.
I've been playing since it came out, and I've only done one dungeon so far XD There's plenty of more important stuff to do, like building the town and upgrading all my clothes ::meev::

You mean one Shrine or one Devine Beast? :p
I still need to find the place to build a town! That's in the Akkala region, right? Haven't been there yet :)
I have bought my own house though.

I love how everyone's adventure is totally different and people have so many different experiences within this game.

The Divine Beasts, yeah XD I've done about 80 shrines and just did my 2nd beast on Friday night ::meev::
And yes, the town site is in the Akkala area, which you should definitely explore. You've probably heard a lot of talk already about who else is up that way.

Currently saving money to unlock the 4th fairy, who wants 10000 gold (!!!!)

waiting for MK8 Deluxe before i get a switch.

I got really into Final Fantasy XIV recently. Bought a 3month subscription and made it all the way to the end of the current expansion in a month and a half. Now i'm just gearing up for Stormblood and clearing the Extreme/Savage content! So fun.

Finally got The Nonary Games as well....I haven't played 999 in years so i'm excited about running through it and VLR again.
Remind me to stop spending so much disposable income on mobile gacha games.....Fire Emblem Heroes and Starlight Stage will be the death of me.

Is the Switch worth getting just for Zelda? I can't think of anything in the immediate future that I'd *really* want to play, other than this game...
If there's any game worth buying a system for, Zelda is it. Whether that's worth ponying up $500 all in all, I leave to your discretion ::cred::

I'll probably pick up Splatoon 2, the new Mario, and Ultra Street Fighter once those come out, but right now just Zelda is fine ::batsu::

For the time being: Maybe. Assuming more of interest will come out later (give me my damn Metroid already).
I don't play much games these days, sadly, so i'm perfectly okay with filling the next few months with just Zelda and Metal Slug 3 :p (a few neo geo games are out on switch as well)
Supposedly all the other game are nice and fun and all, but nothing of any real substance.
I do have to say though, the Switch does what it's supposed to do really well, which is being a portable home console. I've had it with me while traveling quite a few times :)
So yeah, if you have the money laying around and are a huge Zelda fan, go for it.
If you're not that much of a fan then just wait for the inevitable Switch 2.0 and other big games to have been released.

What the shit, that's a lot :|
Just had the 3rd fairy, i need to gather enough items so she can upgrade all my stuff first.
Can finally buy those Guardian killing arrows now, it's time for them to start running!

You can actually reflect their lasers back at them by doing a perfect block with any shield, even a pot lid. Someone told me this one and spoiled it, so now I'm spoiling YOU ::meev::
Fair warning: the insta-kill effect with those arrows only happens if you shoot them directly in the eye. Very easy to accidentally waste an expensive arrow >_<
By the way - the Guardian Armor set apparently gets really good once you upgrade it a few times. And the Diamond Tiara has an insanely high DEF at 4*.

I finally broke down and did another divine beast last night... and my 100th shrine XD

I think I'll spring for it as soon as I can use the virtual console on the Switch :)
I'm really hoping they'll let you migrate up all your junk from the old Wii U and Wii online buying stores :|

That would be ideal, I can't imagine why they wouldn't, especially since I believe you log in with the same credentials that you would with the 3DS, the Wii, and the Wii U. Then again, with all these rereleases and whatnot on other consoles, I guess I wouldn't put it past them...

I think I'm finally ready to put Zelda aside... beat the game, got all the memories, most of the 4* gear, and 110/120 shrines. That might be plenty for now. At least until the DLC expansions come out ::batsu::

Yeah, heard about reflecting the Guardian's beams recently, kinda takes away the fear i previously had for them.
Killing my first Guardian was awesome though :D

I'm terribly afraid of ever finishing this game.
Like the other home console Zelda's its so addictive.
After beating Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess i literally did not know what to do with my time anymore.

I'm really taking my time with this one though, doing sidequests and just running about, finding stuff.
Making shitloads of pictures, too. Damn game is so pretty.

Picked up Splatoon 2 yesterday, and it's infested with furries :| XD About half of the players in my plaza have artworks saying "FURRIES RULE" or similar. I'm not comfortable with this ::meev:: The actual game seems fine though, if you liked the original you'd also like this one. Not looking forward to earning all those levels again though...

I've become absolutely hooked on Taiko no Tatsujin, I've even been considering getting a Switch for the upcoming release of it. Although, I can't say that there is anything else on the Switch that interests me enough to justify the purchase.
