John Philip Sousa - "El Capitan"
Did y'all know he wrote operas as well as marches? It sounds sort of like a cross between Gilbert & Sullivan and... well, marches XD

Unfortunately there's no good vocal version of the famous El Capitan March online. There are some on Youtube but they're lousy.

View attachment 156 I am forever indebted to the man or woman who decided to record some of this event ::weepy::
You really liked it all? I'm actually not that huge into the 80s classics, certainly not to the extent that Kozi is XD
And I'm not gonna lie, I was a little disappointed that "INTO THE NIGHT" was a "Hungry Like The Wolf" remake

Yes! I love the Take On Me cover but not the other two. Take On Me is one of my fav 80s songs and I like Közis voice so its a match made in heaven for me i guess lol

Schwarz Stein – 方舟 (Hakobune), off the new Fleeting Beaty release. This track surprises me pleasantly! Loving the 'old skool' Schwarz Stein vibe :)

I know that vocal style is part of the genre and all, but I can just never take it seriously ::meev:: So, these guys have never been for me.

Recently arrived: a collection of James P. Johnson's piano rolls, recorded on CD. So, listening to...

The terrifying traffic footage is a bonus ::erm::

Even in the genre I'd rank his voice as being pretty out there. :P

Gackt - Jesus (TeddyLoid Remix)

Did Gackt ever perform these remixes? There should have been a Gacktracks tour. would have been sick.

Beyond the Gate, the instrumental versions in particular, I wish Mana continued releasing instrumental special editions.
