The deal is that you roll the dice, a lot. And a lot. and a lot.
And it moves the thing in the back back and forth and in circles.
If it knocks you off, you start again.
This is how it never ends and your fellow player starts throwing dice at you.

I'm personally still waiting for Life Cat Edition to come out.
No salaries. No houses. No kids. Just cats.

So, apart from looking awesome, is there anything that makes this game notable?

I'm not new... but I'm back, baby!

I've been having major Malice Mizer feels lately, and been going through all my old merchandise, reliving the good old days ;)
Suddenly, I remember -scape- is a thing... Turns out I've not been on here for 7 years! ::shifty::

So, um... hello again everyone! It's so good to be back

It seems I've stumbled my way back here after disappearing for a good amount of years. My old account's no doubt been lost to the passing of time but I don't see that it matters too much.
Hello once again, Scape.

It should still be around if you want it back, but I can't tell which one it was.
Welcome back, anyhow :)

Hello! I'm totally new to the forums. I have been listening to Malice Mizer for about 12 years. My favorite era is Tetsu, and I really relish those garbage quality videos and audio from bootleg live shows. Nice to meet everyone!

Hello and welcome~! I really wish they had released more material from that era, the guitars were really at the forefront of the music and the compositions were so interesting.

I suppose I'm a tad late to the ship, but I will gladly extend a tentacle (I sadly lost my hands in an unfortunate carpentry incident many moons ago) to re-introduce myself, as it has been AT LEAST 8 years since I last inscribed anything in this forum...

I was a 17-to-20-something filly who went by the moniker of AmaDollie and frequented the image and general-discussion threads back in the glory-days of post-MM/early MdM/EoD/Közi (alas, beautiful-men is no more...). My interests had drifted after a 6-year-long love-affair with these 7 otherwordly and wonderfully-talented gentlemen (I may be using the phrase a bit generously with Gackt imho) onto a plethora of treasures I had taken for granted in my youth (i.e. Queen), until I woke up one day, seeing my nearly-forgotten La Collection des Merveilles box-set standing out upon my shelf in contrast the rest of my miniscule CD-collection through the years, I was bitten by the "gnostalgia gnat".

I gingerly removed the old girl from her fully in-tact, white box and opened the "book" for the first time probably since I purchased it (back in 2010 or 11?) and was greeted once more with the delightful music-box trinkling out it's dark-nurseryesque rendition of Bois de Merveilles and realised all this time there was something else I had taken for granted.

I cannot describe much further the emotional events that followed this re-discovery... But I will say that there will never be anybody quite like the members of MALICE MIZER, or music quite like theirs - though many have come close - and if anyone still active in these lonely old halls wish to reminisce with me, I'll be around... And could use some help catching up! I'm only aware somewhat of the Deep-Sanctuary "reunions", but would like to hear more of the comings and goings of the Unholy Trinity (Mana-sama, Közi, and, much to my great delight, The count himself, Yu~ki).

TL;DR I need recommendations on current musical projects - I've only ever gotten as far as DiXanadu (LOVE it) and Loki n' Roll (alright, alright). I've sampled more recent stuff here and there, but I'm looking for a fresh start. I've been away too long.

お帰りなさい!I have to say, Queen is not a bad way to spend time. That was part of my favorite music pre-millenium. Seriously some of the best concerts I ever went to. Freddie being carried out by Santa Claus in his bag...
Anyway, I think when it comes to Kozi, I really enjoy what he's doing with ZIZ in that it's upbeat and fun. I also like Dalle, it's much darker and techno. I also like what I have heard from Vamquet but I need to hear more. There are some people who follow his work closely so they may chime in with more info that my little bit here.
As for Mana, he's been working on new music and has said he is close to finishing but it's not quite there yet and wants to make sure he has no regrets when he does release it. I suspect that he's been spending a lot of time working with the changes with Moi-même-Moitié over the last year and will continue to. But it's good because making a cd and touring costs money so if this means there will be more income, then maybe we will see more from Moi dix Mois in the future.
Yu~ki? He hangs out on his mountain making jewelry. Mana said he will accept letters for Yu~ki at his new Moitie address. I don't think they see him much but at least he flies down from his mountain for Deep Sanctuary every couple of years.

There's not that much newer than that ::ash::
M10M's D+SECT album is fantastic and you should absolutely pick it up - then you'll be effectively up-to-date with them. Their new album is coming soon, just as it has been for the past few years.
Kozi's been doing all sorts of miscellaneous projects with his merry band of drunks but I didn't think most of them were anything special. ZIZ is the only place you'll find any traces of Kozi's genius, and even then he shares the musical responsibilities pretty evenly with 4 non-geniuses.
Yu~ki's still selling his handmade jewelry and doing the Malice Mizer "reunions" (of one or two non-vocally-demanding songs) every year or so.
Gackt is a cryptocurrency shill now ::gaku::

EHH?? You saw the God Mercury himself in the flesh?? (I had to settle on Adam Lambert - but the lad has pipes, I'll give him that.... At least I got to see the Doc himself still shredding like the legend he is!)

Good to know! I was somewhat aware of the jewelry -- seems like stone-wrapping is everybody's thing these days (My sister does some spectacular work, and I'm not being biased...::meev::)

Yeah, I've always been more partial to Közi's work in the long run. Definitely want to give Dalle and ZIZ a good slooshy when I can!

DS sounds like a real blast (as well as their individual shows), but I'm a few good years away from being even remotely ready to visit Japan, let alone stepping foot outside North America. I'm sure I'll make it before 40.... ::ash::

Thank you for the warm welcomen darlings!

I think I saw them live five times? Started with the Day at the Races tour through Hot Space tour. It's good people like Lambert. I haven't gone because it would be too difficult emotionally not seeing Freddie with the band.
If you haven't looked at the Midi:Nette website, Yu~ki's jewerly is still being sold there.
As for DS, I went to the last one. It was fun but it's standing room only and a big crowd so difficult being able to see if not near the front. At least this year the Malice Mizer part will probably be longer since there are guest vocalists. Venue it will be at holds 3000 so definitely will be a lot of people there. It was more like fulfilling being able to see Malice Mizer live, even if it was only for a few songs.
Good luck with getting to go in the future! It is a bit of work, I can attest to that.

Hello everyone ~

I was pretty surprised to see that I was not the only one signing up recently. My introduction is going to be quite similar to Witchka's: When I was a teenager I was listening to Malice Mizer and Eve of Destiny a lot, but had a look around the American music scene for the last couple of years (especially since it seemed like nothing new was happening around both Mana and Közi, I guess I got a bit bored after a while....). However recently I thought it might be worth re-discovering a few bands I had been listening to and realized I've missed their world quite a bit! For the past couple of weeks I've been listening to their old song pretty much on repeat.

Anyways, scape used to be one if the sites I originally got my information on them from when I started getting to know them as a teenager (so I guess you could say I've been around for a bit), but up until now I've never actually signed up to the forum. >___<
