Sorry if my green shoots are showing, but my main question is either "Is this a wiki error?" or "When on Earth did MM release 再会の血と薔薇 on vinyl?" Did this single actually get released in vinyl format? I've only seen CDs of the saikai single, never a record.

Huh, had no clue. Never seen the picture disc or even a mention of it, odd that it slipped under my radar like that. Thanks for informing me.

Anyway, I'm kinda curious... Was there was a specific reason as to why it was released on vinyl?

Dixanadu was also released on vinyl , but through a different company via licence.

The MM vinyl is really common, you shouldn’t have any trouble finding a picture of it and it is usually really cheap second hand.

As for why, I have no idea.

I recorded mine months ago:

That is a nice record player, what model is it?

Does the vinyl sound any different to the CD? Maybe it is just the mic/speaker set-up (and I played it back on my phone...) but the melody at the start sounds different to me.

^ I bought that record player only to record that video xD is the cheapest one I found, it sounds terrible.

In my ears, both versions (the vinyl and the single / album) sound the same. It sounds bad in my video because I recorded the sound with the mic of my iPhone then i merged the video and the audio. I wish I had the right equipment to record it properly.

It's a Crosley? Those are one of the most common and cheap brands out there, the speakers are terrible but if you connect it to a proper system the sound isn't bad at all. Also there's a rumour that those players could damage your records but I haven't found a serious source talking about that.
