Would it have been so difficult to add a few extra pages and maybe even throw in some never before seen rarities from the Malice Mizer days?
THANK YOU JESUS someone said it! Just give the fans what they want and publish a goddamn "25 Years of MALICE MIZER" photo album/scrapbook you cowards! MY COFFEE TABLE IS LACKING, PEOPLE!

Did anyone else think that there were some sound mixing issues?
Yes.

I couldn't tell if it was my tv or the concert, but I had a really hard time hearing the vocalists over the music at times.
Bet Au Revoir would have been amazing if I could actually hear the audience singing. Otherwise it was just an instrumental rendition with Közi mouthing "Moto".

I wished that someone had been on vocals for Au Revoir, though. I think audience participation is just one of those things that has more impact when you're there in person, but it was somewhat of a let down watching it back.
Refer to last quote-response.

Kamijo seems like he would be the perfect choice for a new vocalist if Malice Mizer ever resumed activity again. He kind of gives off a Gackt vibe and really had some powerful stage presence.
Ah, you must be referring to the little skip/kick/twirl he did akin to Gackt's Brise dance.

I'm not ashamed to say that I teared up a little at the end when it looked like Mana, Kozi, and Yuki were overcome with emotions while gazing out onto the cheering audience.
OMG the second I noticed Yu~ki pursing his lips and his jaw started to quiver as he titled his head back I was immediately, "No... no... don't do this to me right now; don't you start!"

It is disappointing to hear that the MCs were cut out. Why weren't they just added to an extras section? It feels like there were just some missed opportunities, you know?
*cough*kamimemorialslideshow*cough*

Despite some of those disappointments, it was more than satisfying to see the old pals back together - especially for those who haven't gotten the opportunity to make it over to Japan.

I am now more determined then ever. Now entering my 30s and still haven't been out of the Western States. (except BC to meet distant cousins 6yo me couldn't have cared less existed). It's apalling how poor/ghetto my life has been up to this point. I sincerely hope this revived love for a little band that got me through so much in my youth will bring about new inspiration and hope for the future, and that goes for all international fans who feel robbed or like they missed out on so much.

I was there and honestly couldn't hear the audience singing either, although my friend told me it could have been me just singing/screaming/crying too loud because she did see/hear other people singing....

Also, did anyone else think half the footage was very foggy/hazy? The way this was shot was pretty poor, from the little experience I have with shooting video and imho.

This has been a very big disappointment tbh, or maybe I just feel worse because I saw it live and know how much was cut out! I see no real reason to cut out the MCs and Kami slideshow and it really pisses me off that they did and still charged this ridiculously high price for it!

At this rate I'd feel less swindled buying $45 leggings or a $65 Oracle card deck from Emilie Autumn, ngl.

I'm sorry, Mana, darling. I really wanted to see the good in you and all of this, but not all your fans are blind, idol-worshippers willing to throw down shit-tons of money to settle on overpriced scrunchies and poorly edited, sub-par-picture-and-sound-quality BluRay discs. :(

As a friend of mine pointed out, their releases used to be pretty nice and fancy! Velvet boxes and necklaces and music boxes (ok that was Columbia, but still) so wtf happened here?

Where was the money used exactly? Because the live wasnt very well filmed, and it wasnt well edited either. The photobook was lacking in a lot of ways and the packaging was nonexistent.
And the tickets to the live itself were pretty expensive to begin with.

I just want to know what happened and where the money went! Like, if it all went into medical bills for Yu~ki's hornet sting I'll understand, I just want to know xD

Hey, those Japanese hornets aren't something to sneeze at -- Esp if they're one of those killer Okinawan ones that melt human flesh.

Possibly Közi's medical expenses since he seems to put himself in the hospital at least twice a year?

I hope to god it goes towards funding Mana’s final M10M album and then making a new Malice Mizer album and tour.

For some reason I thought you were referring to Gackt; I didn't realize they were real.

So jealous of everyone--I didn't get to see them live (damn you employment!), and now I can't afford to go to Japan and see them (hello living in one of the most expensive cities in North America), and I can't afford the DVD either. Maybe if they release an off-the-rack version I'll buy it but for now my poor ass can't justify it.

I also wouldn't be opposed to Kamijo doing vocals for MM permanently; at the very least he can do Gackt better than Gackt can today lol.

Oh thank god someone mentioned this ive been crying to every other mm fan i know about the slideshow not being included ...
might just be my kami bias but im most disappointed about there being no actual image of kami himself in the dvd or the photobook like the slideshow. ZIZ was great though and all the performances in general were not bad, still cried :)

.. also as a broke person i will not comment on any youtube matters :P

These are all the new MdM unreleased songs:
Wow, that's actually more than I thought! I wonder what the holdup is at this point? Surely Mana can take some time out from his busy one or two concerts per year schedule and finish the darn thing. ::meev::

Yeah, haha, that was a cool moment. The way he kneeled down at the end of Bel Air is another call back. He did his homework ::gaku::

Also, did anyone else think half the footage was very foggy/hazy?
It wasn't just you! Some of the footage definitely looked slightly out of focus, unless that was just me going blind. When the red lights were blaring down, it was really noticeable.

My hair brained theory is that the major label money is running a little thin these days. After all, Moi dix Mois doesn't really perform all that regularly, so maybe Mana just doesn't have the money to make things fancy any more. Who knows!

I hope to god it goes towards funding Mana’s final M10M album and then making a new Malice Mizer album and tour.
Wait, so has Mana confirmed that the next album is his last?? I'm totally out of the loop these days.

wow, 4 videos on youtube, but they are not very clear, don't know if this is about my computer and video card. If it's BD, they should be very clear, but the quality just like a regular DVD. Hmm... I hope "Beast side" can be upload on youtube. I still cannot watch my BD, still cannot find a good BD player, LG, Samsung, Sony, they are not good and expensive.

Sadly I think the original quality of the BD is like that. I did what I could to remain as uncompressed as possible while ripping the BD but it just looks like that.
Maybe I did it wrong?
How is the image quality with other owners of the BD? Is it also not that clear?
