Do you think so? The only thing I've seen out of New Moitie that struck me as odd is the Some Sort Of Girly Drink dress, besides that it seems like they're sticking pretty closely to "greatest hits" kind of stuff.
Yeah, that one is a pretty good example of what I mean. But I'm not just talking about releases in general (like you said, they've just been sticking to 'greatest hits'), I'm referring more to the overall change in the 'brand' - the photoshoots/models (not the models themselves, but if you showed someone these images in Moitie's heyday I doubt they would believe that they were 'official').
Is that wand photoshopped in, or is she holding it? I can't work it out.
I don't have all my old GLBs here with me so these will have to do.
The communication (they didn't have modern SNS back in the day of course, but there was a certain austere disconnect in their communication that contributed to the brand's mysterious image - now you have a social media manager replying to nearly every enquiry on a public space - and again, it comes across as an ordinary social media manager fielding enquiries rather than a tantalising missive). Essentially, Moitie under Mana's authority had a more austere character, wherein everything felt like a manifestation of his personality and taste and was consonant with a greater aesthetic world which he had built through his music etc. I had a couple more points but I need to get going, hopefully you get the idea.
That should be the official name tbh
