That sounds interesting, do you have any more info? Like what bands will be covering them? And later this summer the mail-order Undercode tribute CD "Anamorphosis" will be shipped. That will have 1 new Lareine song plus other bands covering Lareine.
Crystal Letos was just a random EP with musicbox versions of their "greatest hits", definitely not their worst, it's still a very pretty album.I should probably revisit this band... I seem to recall greatly enjoying Crystal Letos... But knowing me and how I discover bands, I'll probably learn that that was one of their worst albums/compilations or something XD
I recommend just listening to the "Blue Romance" and "Fierte no umi..." albums, and/or the "Reine de fleur" compilations.I should probably revisit this band... Never Cage is their 2004 full album. A great collection of late era LAREINE songs, it contains a lot of upbeat rock songs that use the band instruments combined with synthesizer instruments, and almost every song contains a very good guitar solo. But that's the thing about this album... the songs are very similar to each other, they use the same formula a lot with a new coat of paint. But that doesn't change that the formula is very effective and addicting. It's a real fun listen for me and a lot of fans, but some people might get bored with it. Expect solid compositions and a lot of quality songs, but don't expect that much variety in style and sound as you would with the Fierte album. Also, the visual aspect of this album, or late era LAREINE is less colourful and unique compared to the major era. But again, still very good. My favourite tracks from Never Cage are 愛されていた日々-Ever Love-, 月の狩人, and 蒼の巣窟. Here's one of these songs:Or maybe it was Never Cage I'm thinking of... The rusted gears of my memory are slowly turning now. XD
also, not sure when it happened, but it seems that a small portion of Lareine's discography has been added onto Spotify.
Seems super out of the blue but it's a nice detail. Wonder how it happened all of a sudden.
I wouldn't completely scrap it off considering Közi's ZIZ is on there and other fellow artists are there too, maybe they'll decide to do it too. Also would consider it knowing they're getting more and more aware of the newer foreign/younger fans. That's cool, I wonder if other bands are gonna follow suit (looking at you Malice Mizer...)
