But was it true? XD
Mostly, I believe he asked if I had a TV cable of receiving broadcasts and at the time I only owned a big ol' Sony tube TV from 2003 that I was using for my Dreamcast and Saturn.
My current TV is from around 2011, still not hooked up to the antenna and I have no intention of doing so.

I've been growing more and more annoyed here because the plague keeps getting worse and the rate of mask-wearing just keeps going down. There was even an actual anti-mask rally (albeit a small one) in my town on Saturday.

Damnit they're gonna end up killing Flossie.

No one's heard of Agblogbloshie btw. It's a Hanachan Fact.

(like this, only not wrong. Something you think everyone knows but no one knows except you is a Hanachan Fact now)

And do you know how much I'd like that?
Not... one... bit.

Yes they have, go search through whatever your favorite news source is and they've done a story on it. No one can resist doing a story on a place with such a delightful name XD

hm, and speaking of Hanachan Facts, this is Flossie.
It's been 6 years, but I hope she's still around. She doesn't know you and she's already sick of your s***

Turns out she died that same year and my local Flossie is just another 100-year-old Flossie

By a simple mathematical process I calculate that all women were named Flossie in 1921.

Well she was a great, dear friend of mine and I shall remember her forever napping on that bed in the sky, and being fed up with....the angels.

It was really a by-product of the previous year's invention of dental hygiene. In the days before social networking squeezing out some babies and slapping a name on them was really the only way to signify your adherence to social trends, of course now we have hashtags.

I only know, personally, one faith. And it would seem the name was chosen to be ironically goffy (and then given an arbitrary meaning post facto)
So by simple mathematical process, all Faiths before dental hygene were goffs. Who knew Salem was onto something

Any Japan people want to help me out with a couple of purchases? My credit is gilt-edged sterling, I assure you.

That's one of the phrases I taught Matilda last time I visited, but she was not very receptive to the whole concept

I was somewhat tempted to respond to it and do some scam baiting but it really isn't worth the effort.

Tr0llin' days are over, I just wanna grill, man.

Didn't know that site still existed.

"PLEASE SAVE ME FROM THE HAND OF THE DRIVER" ::meev::

Some of those baiters were weird though. I remember the famous Adamu story never really ended, they just kept jumping to any friends-of-friends who wandered into the email chain.

You guys ever heard of 'Exploding Head Syndrome'? I first read about it a few months ago, weirdly enough about a week or so after first hearing about it one of my Japanese friends contacts me to tell me they were going into hospital for some tests. Turns out the results of their tests was that they have that very condition. Weird coincidence.

Does sound a bit like a condition you'd encounter in Theme Hospital. Anyone ever play that?

The Japanese seems far more clinical to me.
Maybe, but you have to admit 8 kanji in one agglutinative word is something downright sesquipedalian XD Going through some news sites I don't see more than 6 at a time.

I was having some furniture delivered today and one of the guys bringing it in was fascinated by the huge copy of Dante et Virgile aux Enfers I have up in the living room. So I told him briefly about William Bouguereau, the original in the Musee d'Orsay, the meaning of the scene and so on. What can I say, I can't resist being an apostle of BIJUTSU when the situation calls for it.

Just wait till this guy gets a load of Chinese

So was the delivery guy gay, or sm, or both? Because I hear that painting is fine if you're into gay or sm, but not fine for little girls.
