Pride of mind 1st demo tape, with no warranty card and apparently it needed one because there's an audio skip.
My copies did seem to be a bit finicky and you just had to play it a couple times to get a skip-free playthrough. Bid under advisement.

That guy is still stealing my scans ::meev::

Why are all these rare tapes appearing out of a sudden 0_o
They're all from the same guy. Who knows if he was a collector, a magazine writer, just some weirdo who went to every live and bought everything, or what.
He seems to have been "plugged in" to the scene at any rate, his listings sometimes contain interesting yet unverifiable factoids.

No, but I’m a huge Conan the Barbarian fan
Have you already read the early drafts of the script? I found a second draft that someone had printed up all fancy for whatever it is people do when reviewing scripts in Hollyweird.

I have not, how does it compare to the film? I'd be curious to read any alternate scripts for the sequel, as that film was absolute garbage and I try to pretend that it doesn't exist.

The John Milius second draft is similar to the movie but hadn't yet had the fat trimmed as it were. There were more flashbacks to Conan's childhood village, his history as a pit fighter was more of a plot point, Thulsa Doom's lieutenants were bigger characters and one of them was a sort of personal nemesis to Conan. Some of the famous bits like the prayer to Crom hadn't taken their final form yet either.
I never read the first draft by Oliver Stone which seems to be much rarer, but I just found and bought one from Ebay ::cred:: So we'll see. "Destroyer" scripts are out there too but I think only one version of that, and I never bothered checking it out. So I couldn't say whether there was ever a good script lurking behind it.

I wouldn't be surprised. By Crom that film was awful.

Did you ever watch Kull the Conquerer? I heard that was adapted from a potential third Conan film, but after Destroyer I'm hesitant to watch it.

From the comical department: 2 Matenrou demo tapes for a million billion dollars
https://jp.mercari.com/item/m81664445056
This originally said "NO DISCOUNTS" but then they discounted it slightly ::meev::

They'd need to provide a lot more evidence before I'd accept that it's worth any more than the usual $50 bootleg tape.

Thank you for posting those. I've wondered if they were ever coming up again a couple of days ago!
I'm not sure I'm willing to pay that price though.
