I own old moitie and can tell you that moitie quality wasn't a myth, it really was great.
Even the 2019 re-releases were great (cross OP & juliet OP).
I did buy some recent dresses, some of them were good (like their nun OPs, I really loved them), however
many were very disappointing in quality. This picture alone speaks for itself :
This isn't an isolated issue. Japanese fans regularly point out on twitter that the fabric of new releases is too thin but don't tag the brand (probably scared of backlash, since like I said, Wunderwelt gets aggressive when you criticize them).
As for the designer issue :
I know for sure that the following original OP was designed by Alice Kobayashi.

I won't comment on the other re-releases because I don't know.
Edit : Alice just tweeted that the original rose print they are re-using was from her too.
I am aware that many moitie designers were never named and some people use that argument to say there would be no reason for Alice to be named. But I disagree. Alice's name was back in the day openly mentionned on magazines & official websites (including Malice Mizer website). I therefore think (pure hypothesis) that her situation was different from the un-named designers. Why would they suddenly want to erase her name while they were fine with naming her in 2019?
Meanwhile Wunderwelt has the nerve to re-post after the drama their rose cross print without naming her, despite having weeks ago recognized their mistake.
All my life I defended Mana whenever fans had anything unpleasant to say. I often wrote him fanmail, even just to say "I believe you/ trust you" if weird rumors came up.
But this time I won't.
