Which is a rather common mistake among people who have just found out about them for the first time, especially since 'gray' seems to be the more common spelling. :-P As least they made it vaguely resemble their actual name, instead of 'mistyping' it as, I dunno, The Carpenters.

I could see spelling it wrong if you were 14 and writing in your blog. This was on MTV.COM though. There's no excuse for someone being that lazy and not doing the proper research. It's not even research! It's not like they're searching for the Ogopogo.
This is someone not doing their JOB properly, plain and simple.

It is amazing to me that they chose the color to spell the band and not... oh, you know, the REAL meaning behind the name. Color/Explanation of how bodies decompose aren't really the same thing x_X.

I have to agree with Flatliner that all it takes is a bit of intelligence, common sense, and just doing your job.

... wha?

And I just looked it up, and apparently they fixed the spelling:

Okay, being the scan reader that I am, I didn't catch that one. ::meev:: Mostly because I *have* been seeing people freak out over that one capitalization, though. Apologies.

I'm just wondering whether they fixed it because they realized that it was mispelled or because some rabid Dir en grey fans got in their ass about it.

Anyways, I see that one of the cities mentioned is Camden, NJ. This is probably as close as the tour is going to get to me but isn't Camden, like, the most dangerous city in the US? Hopefully for Dir en grey they might just skip out on that little excursion. Heard that they have lives in Tokyo that occur towards the beginning of the tour, so they most likely wouldn't be present at that time.

Can anyone else confirm this?

I like how Kaoru tried to explain the band name's meaning once.. when he's totally full of crap because it doesn't even mean what he said it did. xD

Well, I can pretty much guarantee you they're never going to admit they ripped it off of that *gasp* VISUAL BAND Lareine. ::meev::

Not many people know about that song.
I think it's funny.

I'm rather dismayed that the only two CA shows are in Sacramento and way the hell over in San Bernardino (what's wrong with LA county? :(), but I'll probably go to the SB show. Sitting through the other bands is going to be a bit of a drag, though.
