someone mentioned the tick before! xD
They did?? O_O I must have missed it! I appologize then <3
I did. On Page 2. :)

Anybody remember animated 'Ace Ventura: Pet Detective'?

Then you get cookies for remembering the greatness that was The Tick *gives many cookies*

I dont remember the animated Ace Ventura, but I DO remember the animated version of The Mask. XD
....The Tick was one of those shows I simply DID NOT get.
Seriously. ::shifty::
BUT! To that show's defense, I DIDN'T GET Dr. Katz(not exactly a kid's show but I don't think The Tick was one either) and I've been browsing it on YouTube and reading the wiki article and MAN! Does it make more sense now!
Also, I think the charm is lost if you dub all the comedians' voices. :P And I watched all of those shows too. I LOOOVED The Mask!!! :D

OK, I don't think anyone has mentioned the old-school anime everyone(at least HERE) was brought up with. :D

You're simply WEIRD(here) if you don't remember growing up while watching shows like "Candy Candy", "Saint Seiya/Caballeros del Zodiaco", "Heidi, Girl of the Alps", "Mach Go Go Go/Meteoro/Speed Racer", "Dragon Ball", etc.
I also watched ocassionally "Kiko-chan SUMAIRU", "Doraemon", "Mazinger Z", Eeeetccc. :D

on the other hand, anything that came out of Hanna Barbera was SOLID GOLD. :D

Wait, what?? XD
Hanna-Barbera is legendary for outputting vast quantities of utter garbage. :| I'll exclude "The Flintstones" and I suppose "The Jetsons" on general principles, but that's about it.

Well, just from that picture... I have fond memories from Scooby Doo, Jhonny Quest, the shark guy, and others.
OK, maybe the Solid Gold stament was a bit too much but as far as my american cartoon memories are concerned, half of them came out of Hanna-Barbera. :P

*Shrughs* I can live on with only Caballeros del Zodiaco thou. ;)

@Ka- The Tick was seriously the most random show ever. I should see if they have it on Thou Tubius, because i miss it. It was never meant to be dubbed, though. I can't even imagine it dubbed o_O

xD I remember Dragon Ball! I used to watch it with my mom every saturday morning <33333

Oh! And regarding Beakman's World that someone mentioned earlier- They might STILL be making it (not sure if it was a re-run or what) but one time a few weeks ago during my "I have the sleeping habits of a bat" thing that I usually have going on, I caught an episode of it! I forget what channel but my god XD That show brought back memories, I used to watch it whenever I got the chance.

Actually, yeah, I liked some of those too. Looking back at the thread I remembered how much I liked "Hey Dude' and "Tiny Toons" too...I think I spent my life at the TV. Now it's definitely just Billy and Mandy. *lol* nose...

Oh! Do you remember What A Cartoon?

It used to be on Cartoon Network. That show played the original pilots of Courage the Cowardly Dog, The Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Laboratory and a bunch of original shows.

Do any fellow Canadians remember oldschool YTV? I loved it back when PJ Phil was hosting and there was that TV screen named Snit.

I think Phil was on the YTV show Gamerz a while after that, with some girl who would always wear different coloured wigs and stuff. She was cool. :P It was a show about reviewing new games that came out, and showing new gaming accessories and hardware as well. Though as I remember it, a lot of the stuff they were talking about seemed like old news, but maybe they started airing it again and that's what I remember most. I want that show back, with the same hosts. :P

Polka Dot Door was one that I forgot to mention, and Romper Room. There was another one I meant to mention in a previous post but forgot. Anyway, does anyone remember "My Home Town" or "Caitlin's Way"? Both shows I didn't like too much but I actually saw these on TV again about a year ago.

I used to watch alot of cartoons - some I dont want to admit to watching. But there are a few that I truly do miss and wish I had them on DVD or something.

Gargoyles - best animation EVER. Until it became "Disney-fied" during the last season. One of the things I liked was the continuity. Problems didnt arise, get solved by the end of the episode, and then forgotten.

Freakazoid - my nearly-first boyfriend turned me on to this one. Hysterical. "What's keeping my mute butler Ingmar...?"

The Tick - oh yes...pure random genius! They had a live-action version for awhile, but....not memorable.

@ Monophobia: I remeber the old school YTV. I used to watch it all the time. these are some shows that I remebered: Breaker High, Hang Time, Student Bodies, Big Wolf on Campus, Dexter's Lab, and Transformers.

@Kamijo: that mummies show was called Mummies Alive. The song for it was awsome.

When I was in 4th grade, I watched Pokemon RELIGIOUSLY every day after school and on Saturday morning. Repeat untill 6th grade and you have my after-school activities. [kinda]

When I lived in Las Vegas [during 4th grade] I used to watch Dragon Ball. In Spanish. ::kisaki::
