My free Spiderwick: The Field Guide book came in the mail today. ::meev:: I shall read it, soon. :P

 Did you buy Cheerios or something else? I bought Honey Nut Cheeries... twice.

So my copy of Spiderwick book 1 is in the mail, and I also ordered Frindle because it sounded cute.

About how long did it take for your book to get to you?

Haha, Honey Nut Cheerios, too. :D

It only took about 3 weeks in the mail. I was surprised. It's the hardcover too, by the way. I was disappointed it wouldn't be hardcover because in their FAQ it says all books are softcover, but it's a lie! :P

Anyway, I read it in an hour and it was pretty good.

Oh come one! Certain scenes in that book are EPIC! ::meev::

CUrrently though, I'm reading Bram Stoker's Dracula again, I just love the state of mind that book puts me in.

Are you talking about the scene when Lestat having sex? If yes! that's epic XDD

I looked for The Remains of the Day at my library, but the only thing of Kazuo Ishiguro that they had was When We Were Orphans so I picked that up instead. So far it's interesting and well-written enough, but it isn't wow-ing me.

I've gotten spoiled by really amazing authors I've been reading before this though ::meev:: (Capote, Kingston, Dickens, etc.) So I guess it's hard to compete with that no matter which way you cut the cake.
