I got the CD, and it's very nice =) I didn't really care too much for the poster, but I thought the CD was really well done! I'm glad I have both this and the original Glitter because there were some songs I liked better on the original (Such as Hydrangea)

Who else went to the live tonight? I was there~

Rose Jail was AWESOME!!! It was easily the highlight of the concert for me.

Let's hear it for the Kaya Specialty Dance Team!

Yea the font is not being very nice to my eyes...

aaanyways~ Finally got my copy tonight. I think most of the songs in this album are quite good. A few might take a little getting use to when my head keeps comparing them to their original ver. Also a lot of nice images~

Loving You - Minnie Ripperton (no whistle register haha)
Fly Me to the Moon - Frank Sinatra
I Wanna Be Loved By You - Marilyn Monroe
Desire - Nakamori Akina
Hyakumanbon no Bara (Million Roses) - Kato Tokiko (sang it so much better than her)
Danshou to Kuroneko - Sugar

OMG! Fly me to the moon! I wish I could hear it!
As for Hakumanbon no Bara - the title of the song reminded me of old Alla Pugacheva (great russian singer) song with the same title.

Actually, it IS Alla Pugacheva's song! :D He sang the Japanese version. The original Russian song got translated into Korean, Vietnamese, Japanese, English and who knows how many other languages.

I was there too and loved the show entirely. It was fun and I think the show was well balanced between the moments of joy and silly things and more moving moments. And I must say that the birthday wishes were so nice.

I didn't know so many people from -scape- were at the show o_O

Rose Jail was a lot of fun and I think Kaya really liked the attention... When he was right in front of me, someone grabbed at his face and he made a point of licking the hand, so...

(Did anyone see me? I saw some non-Japanese people, but not too many... I was the American guy wearing a black/white/gray stripped button-down shirt and reading a book in line...)

Anyway, about the album itself...

I was listening to Meties and Isola yesterday and today and I was thinking that he should do a new rock song again on a CD. I like him doing electronic music and all, but I really want to hear him get into rock again. He did some pretty amazing things that he hasn't done since on those early songs.

Yeah, I've had Isola in the rotation in my car lately, and it really was a lot better than anything recent I've heard from Kaya. But I doubt we'll hear anything like that from him because he didn't actually write any of that music XD Heck, I don't think he even wrote the lyrics in Meties, did he?

Just gonna C+P
I really like the fact that Carmilla was extended, but I think the transition within the extra chorus could have been placed better. Also Rose Jail sound awesome. The instrumentals seems to have little to no change, but his vocals are so "o_o" His yelling is louder and longer, which is amusing.

I'm glad Psycho Butterfly and Masquerade actually sound like they've been re-arranged. UH! and Epicurean. Oh my, that song. I like it, but seriously, Mortal Combat XD

The highlights for me were Epicurean and Carmilla. The new Masquerade was much better than the original, but still a bit bland for me. I still dislike Rose Jail, and I was disappointed that the clapping sounds were taken out of funerery dream (I loved those D: ). Overall, I thought it was pretty good, but I still would have liked to see Kaleidoscope on it.

Hey, I'm in love with funerary dream since 2006! And I like new version, I think even a bit more, than old (renewal of feelings?). Just a bit. It's my favorite #2 of songs performed by Kaya.

Were you near the back of the line? Like in the high 100s - 200s spot?

nope!

I love what Kaya/Hora did with this new verison. I was on the bus listening to the new album, then funerary dream started and right around....5 seconds into the song i was in a different world. transient, Last Hallucination, and now funerary dream are the only SS songs that take me away

::kisaki:: I've been listening to ISOLA alot, I really enjoy the lyrics to Egoistie Butterfly, I actually love the lyrics. It's much more "real" than his lyrics in Schwarz Stein. I don't really like Meties that much though.

And ...Yeah Kaya/Hime did write the lyrics for Meties.
