"Send Kaya your love for Christmas" project

Dear Addicts,

Let's tell Kaya how awesome he is and wish him a Happy New Year! Then I can collect all we say, make a huge-ass card (or buy a huge-ass card-- or maybe make a fanbook, depends on how much material we have), and mail it off to Japan from his International Addicts! Kaya loves compliments, and he is excited that he has fans from many different countries, so bring it on!

Please respond to this post with:

1. Name: (optional, if not, lj name will be good)
2. Country: (V. Important! Kaya likes the International Addicts!)
3. Why you think Kaya is awesome:
4. Your wishes for him for 2009.
5. If you have fanart or anything else you want to give to him, a link to that (I will go print it out on glossy picture paper and glue it in)
6. If you're from the US and/or went to the live, please say thank you for coming and invite him to come again!

If you can, please write in Japanese. If not, English is fine. But most importantly, PLEASE WRITE, even if you have nothing more to say than "Kaya, you're awesome and I love you, greetings from Timbuktu" <3. The more people are in on this, the larger the card, and the happier the Kaya!!!

If you know Japanese (even a little), please look at the posts, finding some you can comfortably translate, and respond to those posts with their Japanese translation! It doesn't have to be perfect, we're going for letting Kaya know we love him, so even if we have small mistakes, I'm sure he will understand.

This motion is happening on lj, on scapeforums, on a Spanish forum, etc., so if you have more/better suggestions about where we can post this to get to more people, tell!

Currently I persuade my friends to take part, and of course I'll do it too! I started yesterday, with my Maa-chan, so I think it will be a bit long ^^" And she started to draw a fanart, she's very talented, so I'm sure it will be beautiful. We are really excited! XD

Gah, I'm working on a fanart piece for this (demihime on lj btw)... I finally had to throw aside my "I don't draw real people because that's creepy" thing because I really want to do this. I'm using one of his photos as a reference, but kind of running wild with it.

Would it be weird if I sent him a picture of my tattoo? While it wasn't originally intended to be Kaya related, I ended up using him as a model for part of it. Hopefully it'll be done in time to include it.

Thank you very much. XD I would hope my art is pretty good - it's how I make my living. I'm hoping to post an update on my progress soon (I've got a good portion of the dress shaded in now).

My friend and I will collect everything by the deadline, print the fanarts and stuff and send everything to him in a book/booklet.

Should we assume, then, that art should be submitted at a high resolution if possible?

I'm trying to get mine done! If I can get my parents' scanner to work tonight, I will try to post an update.
