I thought since the Rose Kingdom topic was more about the new single then the Live that it would be appropriate for a new thread.

Ophelia is Kaya lyrics/Hora music so hes back into the neo-decadence style again *____*

I really hope it has a classical edge like Carmilla... Plus it will be interesting to see how Hora would fuse the classical and electro styles since with SS there was synths + maybe a piano or bell chime but nothing like Carmilla.

I hope its 4-tracks like Last Snow (reg. edition) so we can see Kaya back in this style ^o^ Maybe a chanson outtake as well?

I hope it could be like inner universe. Something more powerful and that makes you feel like singing it all the time.

I am glad, though, that it's not out until July. =( I just had to pay some medical bills and I'm totally broke, so that will give me some time to save up for this release.

Not at all. There is no limited edition button, not first press information at all. It's a reglar release. I think this is because of the monetary issue or something?. Maybe they had to save in bonuses and just sell the cd itself. Anyhow, I preordered since you posted the cdjapan link. This is gonna be a very cool release I think.

Singles usually don't have first-press bonuses anyway. I don't think it's a sign of trouble.

Well iirc Kaya's first single had First Press Extras & Versailles' singles both had them too. I think he would have split the Limited Edition/Regular Edition if he didnt have them too.

Oh yeah, the darkness posesses Kaya again!. And Hora & Kalm, this is gonna be absolutely mindblowing.

I'm quite in love with the cover... Theres something very 'Current' about it but its still quite individual... I'm assuming that Ophelia will be quite a sad song since she does meet her demise in Hamlet.

Actually, for those who don't know much about Ophelia she was a character in the play Hamlet (William Shakespeare). She is in love with Hamlet (Who is aware of her feelings). However he has to act insane for a plot to murder Claudius (the new king) and her father Polonius tells her he believes that he has gone mad with lovesickness. After Polonius is accidently killed by Hamlet she becomes extremely distressed and goes mad herself: She talks in riddles and rhymes and then kills herself by drowing, which is why Kaya lying in the water is quite symbolic.

I don't really mind; I would prefer if Kaya released a Limited Edition single that it would integrate more then the regular Kaya single would (like for LS it would include 4 tracks + DVD). As long as there are a couple of first press extras like there was for Chocolat I'll be more then satisfied... Still, it is the music that is also important and maybe a nice booklet ^o^

This is going to be amazing, just watch.
I can't wait to see how it will do on the charts, and hopefully a PV is in the works, i freaked out over no PV for any of the Last Snow songs, that's pretty weird for a major artist, no?

Well, I had understood Kaya went to Hokkaido to make a pv?. Maybe for his next release he has something special to do.

The other thing is, that cover makes me come to mind the Perfume Midnight poison, dunno why.
