Lady Gaga looks like some kind of pornographic Jim Henson creation gone horribly wrong...but that's just me. She has a few catchy songs though so it's okay, I guess.

Lol in all honesty I think vk artists most of them try to hard. Lady gaga is more avant harde and fashionable. Lul thheoretically she is a visual kei artist because she puts emphasis on looks. I'm sure if u saw a Japanese band with her look I'd call them v k

Mana's style is definitely amazing, and not only the M10M one, also the costumes and make-up in GLB. And not to forget the Malice Mizer stage! I think he's driven many fans into cosplay.
As a whole band, I'd pick Versailles. They make a stylish quintet and even exaggeration (such as Jasmine You's head "stuff") looks good on them. Hizaki and Kamijo are really interesting individually too.
And of course I have to say Kaya. Every time he changes costumes during a live, he looks splendid whether he's drag-queenish, princess-ish, school-girl, or a sexy boy! I don't know anyone else who can cross gender boundaries that elegantly without losing "Kaya-ness" in the process. He's the ultimate "drama queen".

actually in my strongest opinion, I really hav to say Ali Project's Arika Takarano. Having been around for some 20 or more years before lolita had its peak, She deserves credit for being a prominent visual figure in visual styling and lolita.
All her gowns are couture and extremely avant garde which makes her the most fashionable and elaborate "diva". I can see where kaya, versailles, mana, etc. get their visual influence from

Oh man, I would normally say Mana, because I absolutely love his style, but I'll go with Közi. He's always just so off the wall, but somehow he always manages to make it look amazing.. that, and I love jesters.

Alicenine always looks cool. Especially in Yami ni chiru sakura.
