What do you mean by visual items?
EDIT: Also, I wouldn't buy anything from Cosmates because they just sell cheap Bodyline stuff with a ridiculous markup.

Visual as in Visual kei, lolita..
Sorry if I offended you. My English isn't very good in typing most times so I guess I may offend.

Oh, have you bought stuff from Cosmates?
I just was asking if anyone had a site they like to buy stuff from.
again I am sorry.

Oh like clothing or CDs?

For clothing I just like Sex Pot. It's still pretty expensive but not stupid expensive like Mana's stuff. I can also just mix and match it pretty easily with things I already own, where as if I bought Moi Meme Moitie stuff. It would probably look really bad mixing a cutesy Lolita top with a pair of jeans ::meev::

I like to make my clothing outfits and jewelry. That I can make what I like instead of paying.

I really like Algonquins, they have a good mix of cute and 'rock' style. I also like Sexy Dynamite London because they are just cool.
I've splurged a couple of times on Moitie clothes, I wear the Cathedral print often for formal events like concerts, it fits really well and I always get compliments on it :D

would you mind clarifying that? imo and from what I've heard Moitie is generally worth the price, especially given that goods manufactured in Japan are ridiculously expensive across the board.

When I was into vk I really liked more the punk-influenced clothes, and Putumayo is one of my favorite brands for that.

Ah yes I have heard of Putumayo. I read about the band in Cure magazine.

I'm not offended, so you don't need to apologize so much. xD

I haven't bought anything from Cosmates.com, but basically they are a reseller of Bodyline clothes. However, you can buy the same items directly from Bodyline for lower prices. Just letting you know, since you mentioned them. :)

I don't really wear "visual" or punk type clothes, and I buy Japanese CDs from CdJapan.

Oh ok!
Is CDJapan a good place to buy CDs from? (wonder)

Yes, it's very reliable. I've never had problems with them before. I think a few people here have had a few issues, but all in all it's reliable.

95% of my wardrobe is from angelic pretty, 2% is from Baby and the rest come from random off brand shops.

I've bought tons and tons of stuff from them and never had a problem.

And when I had a problem with having to switch my credit card on an existing order (it expired) they responded immediately to my email and took care of it right away.

Good customer service.

I usually stick with CDJapan but when something's not available there I'll go with the indies shop that offers the best privileges. :P

Jishuban Club's pretty reliable, as is Like an Edison. I've heard weird things about Brand-X and Zeal Link but I've used them before and nothing went wrong. But as far as having weird indies releases in stock, I think Jishuban and LikeA are the better ones.

Edit: I own a pocket watch from Putumayo, but that's it. I like some of Sex Pot and Alice and the Pirates but I never got around to getting anything. They're a little on the expensive side. :/

CDJapan is great and have awesome customer service. Though, if you want really indie stuff you'll have to try other places. I been buying used CDs these past few months and now been trying to skip CDJ. They can get expensive :P

I just canceled two orders and they where quick. They have amazing customer support, they usually respond fairly quickly unless there is a holiday or it's Sunday Japan time. Like Iska I had my credit card expire, input the new card, emailed them and it was fixed the next day. Same thing when I moved, had to change my address and my pending orders where updated right away. The only problem I've ever had with CDJ was the GMO payment system they use. I had canceled some stuff but it's so slow to go through. When I looked at my card, it showed this massive pending charge. I totally freaked out (even posted a thread here) but after contacting them. They explained I wouldn't get charged and I never was.

Amazon Japan can be a good source but they only ship FedEx International Priority which is expensive. But I've used them a few times when something was sold out on CDJ. Also looking at the used items being sold through them never hurts, most don't ship International but you can sometimes find people willing to ship overseas.

CDs I bought from CDJapan or YesAsia. CDJ is excellent.

Clothes, if I am buying new, I get from the h.NAOTO/S-inc official store, or from Tokyo Rebel (US-based licensed reseller of punk and lolita brands.)

But mostly I buy clothes on the egl_sales community. Like-new and half the price, WHOO.
