I don't want him to become less masculine... XD It shows that he lost a couple of kilos after that pic was taken though.. I remember him saying he intended to drop 10. ^^

This is Gackt loosely cosplaying Yoshiki for the Camui Gakuensai lives (the ones where he performs Au Revoir). He is the drummer in the X Japan covers, and Chachamaru is on vocals!

and even in gazillion of vids he is showing up how he is training and in sevral documentary stuff is about his workouts so hey, no really painted

@Marie: Not so much in that picture, but in the picture everyone else was talking about you can tell he has too much fat for defined abs by looking at his belly button. It's pretty obvious.

It very clearly looks like makeup. He still looks good and in shape but the six-pack is obviously painted on. (In the pic we're talking about - not the second one.)

But I'm surprised he doesn't have a six pack, actually. It's not like he couldn't afford a good gym, trainer, and nutritionist to make it easy for him or find the time to workout regularly. And we all know how determined he is. He obviously wants one ::meev::

hmm well I know you were discussing that current pic, but I wanted to say that while he already had such abs, why is now impossible for him to have them again? Just srsly those wont be painted, really. I´ve seen so many pics RECNT of heavy work outs, so come on, those are definitely REAL.

Compare the shadows of his ab 'muscles' to the shadows of his actual pectoral muscles. They're under the same light but they're different colors, whereas in the photo where his abs are obviously real the shadows are all similar.
No one's saying Gackt could never have nice abs ever. I'm sure there are times when he's busy enough that maintaining his abs isn't his first priority and they fade a little, and the photo in question just happened to be one of those times. It's really not that big of a deal.
