Sorry for double posting buttt short tour report!!

Belfast Setlist:

1. "Dance in the Dark"
2. "Glitter and Grease"
3. "Just Dance"
4. "Beautiful, Dirty, Rich"
5. "Vanity"
6. "The Fame"
7. "LoveGame"
8. "Boys Boys Boys"
9. "Money Honey"
10. "Telephone"
11. "Brown Eyes"
12. "Speechless"
13. "So Happy I Could Die"
14. "Monster"
15. "Teeth"
16. "Alejandro"
17. "Poker Face"
18. "Paparazzi"
19. "Bad Romance"

Okay, so she bought us pizza and her set started just after 9:00pm. The whole set was like a collection of clubs and was changed throughout the show. For example, with Alejandro they replaced the set with a virgin mary water fountain, had a train carriage for Lovegame etc.

She had 15 costume changes, which really surprised me o0 but i wasn't bored during the costume changes (one of which a 'hurricane' came from the top of the stage and changed her costume) and also short video interludes were pretty interesting.

She started talking about Dublin (to which everyone boo'd) and she said she wouldnt speak about it again :P She talked to the crowd basically after every other song either narrating her journey or asking everyone if they wanted to hear the 'Monster claw' story (which was entertaining) ^^

She was brilliant performing 19 songs whilst running about and dancing and it made me love Speechless and Brown Eyes evenmore... ahhh!

Oh man, I'd go to one of her concerts just for the Gaga experience. She seems to pay a painstaking amount of attention to details and considers nothing too over the top.

15 costume changes? That beats the five or six suggested in the Kaya dream setlist thread. ::meev::

Looooved the video. As usual, wonderful outfits! I was a bit nervous about how it would turn out, but I was wonderfully surprised.

What other references were there besides the pussy wagon? I must have missed them.

Anyways, I've never liked the song but I thought the video was intensely entertaining.

the titles, the style of dialogue, the sound effects and such, gaga said the video was inspired by him and it does feel really tarantino-esque. she had dinner with him, i wish i was there. :(

Oh yeah. The corniness of the dialogue definitely reminded me of Tarantino.

Ohhhmygod. That dinner sounds so awesome. xD

edit: Lady Gaga explains the video a little bit. http://www.eonline.com/videos/v50737_la ... phone.html

Here's an interesting article regarding both Lady Gaga and Joanna Newsom. Weird. xD

As an experiment, think on this question. Over the past few years, who have you seen fiercer, more divisive debates about: Joanna Newsom or Lady Gaga? I'd guess that for a lot of you reading this, the answer is Newsom. Which is interesting, especially if you think about ways these artists are mirror images of each other.

Also, sorry for the double post. :|

I would never have heard about Newsom if it weren't for you, so I have to say Gaga XD But it really doesn't seem like there are "divisive debates" about her as much as there are the people that take her seriously and are intrigued vs. the people who are knee-jerk "omg that sucks", "omg I hate pop, she sucks". I don't think there's rightfully anything to hate about Gaga.

Though I can't imagine who would hate Joanna Newsom either. Some people are just haters, I guess.

Also, I liked the video. I felt like it was a bit ADD and I kind of wanted the song to play in its entirety without being interrupted, but it was still pretty awesome. How can you not love the dick joke in the beginning? XD

I liked it but didn't like it at the same time. My favorite parts are the "Lets Make a Sandwich" part, and the dance in the American flag outfits (Gagas best look so far, I think)...but as a whole I felt it was pretty random.

I'm wondering if the poisoning of the food is a stab at how fast food is essentially poison. It's a diner setting though, so I don't know...but still.

Anyway, it was alright and definately entertaining.
