Ahahah yes I understand what kind of melancholy you feel by listening MM.

The setlist (which everyone knew in advance as he doesn't change it one bit) was made up by not so popular songs. When you have a live somewhere for the first time, the least you could do is to play a lot of well known songs, both old and new.
And when the entire audience ask for one particular song, well, why not grant their wish?

The sound was bad, we couldn't hear him. His own personal trip for the moment is holla nigga talk, which is just ridiculous and too much. Repeating "f*** me" and a lot of mother f***ers and all kind of cool stuff like that.
Yellow Fried Chicken being YFC, you can't help but thinking about KFC, which is basically fun but.. actually no.

The concert was damn short. The audience did half of it, Gackt asking us to acclaim him non stop. And when I say non stop it's...just.. yeah. Awful.
He spent more than half of the concert shirtless. With a six-pack PAINTED on. The makeup was running.
There was no actual interraction with the audience. Maybe because he's used to bigger crowds. But he could at least just try to talk to us instead of shouting obscene shit.

Encore: 1 song.

Sorry, just writing it down as I remember stuff~

Bahahaha

I agree on the setlist though. I didn't go, and seeing the setlist (and how short it all were too), I'm almost glad I didn't, although it'd be fun to actually have seen him live.
Of the old song on the setlist, I believe I only like Lu:na. The rest were pretty much meh (haven't listened to the songs in.. a few years though XD)
I've heard the new songs practially once each, i believe. Except Jesus, which I liked.
But two songs (without remembering it all) out of it all.. it's pretty bad :P And pretty much not worth all the money it would have cost for me, being on a very limited budget.

That's really odd, because when he did the Skin concert he did not do stuff like this.

That's completely hilarious.

By "Gackt asking us to acclaim him non stop" I'm assuming you mean that he was constantly trying to get you guys to applaud and scream and sing the words to the songs? Because I hate that. Stop forcing me to participate and just sing the damn song. I'll sing along if I want to and I'll applaud when I want to.

I saw some videos of the painted-on-abs things recently but I didn't know that it was from this tour.

It's funny because I was just randomly checking out Gackt stuff on Youtube for some reason (I say "for some reason" because I'm not a huge fan), and of course when I saw him shirtless in the thumbnail for the video, I had to click on it. And at first I was like, this seems a little out of character for him to perform like this but, hey, shirtless Gackt - I'm not complaining. But then I was OMG IS THAT MAKEUP ON HIS STOMACH??? BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Ugh well he should come to the US then...because I want to see him and his fake abs/shitty sound (which probably won't be there with our venues) / and his outcries for us to get engaged in his songs....because that is just what he ALWAYS does...

except the ab thing that's new but *doesn't care* xD

So, we can expect that in Gackt's next album there will be lots of rap and hip-hop? :P

Dude. Don't you guys remember that somewhat recent photo of him with the intensely obvious painted on abs? ::meev::

This isn't surprising at all.

Yeah, I remember that, but there's something even worse about him doing it live onstage without the aid of photoshop.

@Flowers: If you Youtube "Gackt YFC live 2010" someone posted the entire DVD. I haven't watched the whole thing but the screencaps make it look like he's shirtless for almost the entire concert. And so is his band - most of whom look kinda gross shirtless.

I'm not one to be that judgmental about people not having completely perfect bodies, but if you're going to be half-naked for most of your concert - which is being filmed - it probably wouldn't kill you to do some sit-ups for a few months beforehand. Because we can still see the doughiness under that makeup.

Well I'm happy it's making your day XD

His lips are gross yeah, plus weird colour dude, weird.

I gotta praise the botox though, he doesn't need photoshop when it comes to his face at least.

He did try to make us sing for one song, didn't work out that well. But he mostly just waited for us to applaude and scream for 15 minutes. Several times. While he was doing his signature psycho face.

Sorry to butt in even though I don't really care but a lot of you are seeming to forget that this European mini tour was a last minute planned thingy DURING his official big YFC tour in Japan.
He made time to quickly squish a Europe tour in between so are you guys honestly expecting a 'months in advance prepared concert' like you see on the dvd's? A carefully selected set list just for the sake of Europe?

I'm not exactly a Gackt fan but I think people had too much expectations of a concert announced this short in advance and in between doing a big Japan tour.
It's only natural that he sticks with the actual (meant to be epic) YFC tour plan / image.
If it was under different circumstances I would have understand the disappointment of expecting a typical infamous Gackt set list but in this case, no.

(I don't agree on the constant ego horny swearing thouh!)

I couldn't have said it better myself. I'm pretty sure we've all had days where we slept through the alarm clock, woke up in a panic, and barely had time to spray on some abs before running out the door. Now imagine multiplying that by 1000 for coordinating a concert tour.
