fallout new vegas is really good. i like it more than FO3. that game's atmosphere was too oppressive but it was still pretty good. I guess I like the player's story in FO3 more but prefer the locale of NV.

undead nightmare is out! (red dead redemption DLC) I'm really looking forward to it but i'm too absorbed in fallout to play it yet

Played Fable III for like 5 hours last night (while drinking Rogue Chipotle Ale - which owns) and it was good times. I managed to belch at approximately 50 villagers so far and made 3 lesbians fall in love with me. I can't wait until I can unlock more expressions so I can gay marry one of them, punch her until she asks for a divorce and then fart on her as she leaves with our adopted kids.

Why can't all games give me these options?

I agree with all of this.

I had to share this because I laughed so hard at this person's posts from another forum that I thought I was going to throw-up (luckily I'm the only person in the office right now):

Vincent Goodnight wrote:
Fucking shit! I can't believe this! This actually upsets me on a personal level, I just wrecked my house. Dante was more than a video game character to me. He was my role model. I grew up with Dante and not having a father through my adolescent years when I would think about how an adult would handle a situation I would think "what would Dante do?" and I still do. He taught me to be fearless, to believe in myself and that anything is possible by being carefree, cocky, rocking kickin threads and the right attitude.

Guy gets uppity at the pub, "Let's Rock!"

Police give me shit it's time to make wisecracks.

Girlfriend says "I never take anything seriously" and breaks up with me, I make moves on her sister, Then I thrust it! With great force! Every angle..! It penetrates! Until...! With great strength...! I... ram it in! In the end... We are all satisfied... and you are set free!

There's not a situation that I don't look to Dante for unless it involves patience or dealing with emotional crap because I don't have time for either one. Still without Dante, there'd be no Vincent Goodnight. There's really so much a young person can learn about life from those games if you think deeply enough.

If they make dante an emo it could take a kid like I was and teach them it's ok to be emo or thoughtful instead of s-s-stylish.

As far as the game I don't care Bayonetta owns and I've always considered it the PROPER sequel to 3 I figure Dante was the best character created for the 2000 decade and Bayonetta will probably be that for 2010 we needed someone more mature, fleshed out, with deeper gameplay for the now adult audience but there's far too much emo in the world and devil may cry should be a refuge in awesome...for the awesome.

Vincent Goodnight wrote:
Thank you, this is something I'm really disappointed about and my first post might of been a bit too personal but I wanted everyone to know how seriously I take the character Dante and the Devil May Cry franchise and how it has shaped me as a person.

I know emo kids, hipsters, those people that don't "get" devil may cry(or bayonetta) and honestly capcom shouldn't be trying to pander to them. I don't see them buying a game about albino methhead Rhianna either.(I know I'm not the only one that saw it) That crowd plays bad games like kingdom hearts, nintendo wii, or Sports Game: current year.

This whole design makes no sense and it sucks. I hate capcom now, and the english. Have they ever made a good game in England?!

edit: obviously a troll, but really funny.

I need to play Fallout New Vegas and Fable III. I haven't beaten Fable II yet, I'm pretty much at the end but it's just another one of my usual get to the end and never beat it thing.

Anyway, some of the usual jacked up shit I have done in Fable.

First Fable game I married a women, then I drank and drank and got fat and unshaven. Then I beat her until we got a divorce.

Second Fable I would openly flirt and cheat on my hubby right in front of him. We got a divorce.

Is this a sign of what my real life marriage is going to be like??

Don't even get me started on my Fable II experiences ::meev::

I was a sexy woman with a stay-at-home-husband and 6 or 7 kids. I was the best mother ever. ::gaku::
I devoted my time to becoming a millionaire by owning every house and business in Albion. ::cred::

I'm playing Assassin's Creed II now ::squee::

Yes! I did this or at least when I left off was in the process of doing that. I think I owned most of the houses and a chunk of the business but still have some work to do before I own it all xDDDD It's like - Pssh I'm rich now, who cares about saving Albion.

In the first Fable, I leveled my stealth skills to max and to make it more interesting, I would sneak into people's homes at night and assassinate them so the house would go on sale. No one knew it was me  Most my friends are like, "why don't you just go in there and fireball them in the face instead of being crazy and sneaking in at night?" It made it more fun! ::meev:: ::meev::

Yeah I know, I was putting off the main quest so I could own everything ::meev::
I had like 20 STDs too. I almost forgot about that.

I would've killed people in their homes, but I was a Pure person... I just couldn't do such an awful thing *sniff* I'm tempted to play again and sacrifice my family, kill everything in my path, side with bandits, raise rents, and marry a ton of people.

The only time I chose the 'evil' choice of a quest was when I had to choose whether I wanted to become old, or have some other girl become old.

I remember when I was in Bloodstone, I accidentally shot a guy and killed him. All the people started running around or shot back at me, and so I killed them ALL XD Of course I didn't save that. Being evil was way more fun.

^ I always have to play these games twice - once evil and once good. The evil playthrough is always more fun, but I do sometimes feel weirdly bad about killing an entire village full of people. For like a second.

I got to have sex finally last night and I love how it gives you the option to have protected or unprotected sex.

Obviously I picked unprotected.

I was going to play Fable II again to be on the bad side, but then college started and I began playing Assassin's Creed II. ::kisaki::

"Why don't we have a little fun?"

Was that your first time having sex? ::gaku:: Yeah, I went protected for a while because I thought I was going to get pregnant by some guy who wasn't my husband. You get STDs too, but I don't think that it affects anything in the game.

You're making me tempted to go evil now ::meev::

I can't be evil in those kinds of games where they let you choose, because I feel bad when I have to kill innocent people and all that stuff. I get that it's a game and that I'm just being ridiculous, but I can't get around the guilty feeling I get even knowing that. ::meev::

Oh I know what you mean, that's why I was good in my game. Once I was super pure with a halo on my head though, I started doing some little bad things XD But when it came down to the decisions, I'd always feel like I HAD to choose the good choice even though I wanted to be evil. ::batsu::

Same. The halo is a bit much. And the stupid devil/angel wings that are gonna be in Fable III are waaay too much, imo.

I also think that it was really ridiculous/politically incorrect that in the original fable, if you were really good, you became blond-haired/blue-eyed (read as: Aryan.)

I liked the halo, it sort of looked like a crown on my head before I got a real crown XD

How is it 'politically incorrect'? I mean, it's not calling African-Americans black people or anything. Or calling the mentally challenged retarded, which would be politically incorrect. Wouldn't it be more along the lines of rascism?

But yeah, in Albion, black people are not good! ::meev::
