Male? I haven't even thought about it. Well, maybe...

And I also had no doubts they would replace Yurikago. It would be pretty strange if Lilly remained the only dancer in the band.

Oh, how stupid of me not to think about the fact that Velvet Eden has turned into a freaking mad house! Ò__Ó

This is not a guy, because Aci posting this picture wrote "please remember her".

Is it just me who doesn't understand the outfits Lilly, Yurikago and the new one is wearing? ... I really don't get it.

I don't understand the outfits either, they look like something I'd expect the women from Nachtmahr to wear, it doesn't really fit the dark/gothic image of Velvet Eden.

Of course, new VE is like a gothic circus ::meev::

As were they ever! I believe the original lineup was Dada+Kalm+miscellaneous others who tended to last all of five minutes. VE is a revolving door and always has been. :P

The core of VE was always just Dada and Kalm, and that's how both 人形娼館 and Street of ALICE were made. It was only after Kalm left that it became a "rotating door", hence the totally different sound of 捨て猫.

And even then, at least those "miscellaneous others" actually played instruments :P

It doesn't really bother me that "dancers" has joined, what's bothering me is that they don't dance, I don't know what that is, reminds me little of "dancing" from elementary school disco -.- When they came back and it said that they would have dancers on the myspace page, I thought they would be more like actors playing out the story of Madame Tarantula in the background or something. -.-

Should there be a "message" ?
I think they just wear something without any meaning.
At least it looks like "That looks good, I wear that.".
Nothing like "I want so show I'm a dead doll, a spider princess or something else". ^^. That's my opinion.

The second thing - dancers ? VE doens't need any dancers, because that was the dancers do is no dancing in my point of view XD. That's just.. nothing XD.

This.

My impression is that Dada wanted people around him for his comeback. He probably needed it too. He's older now. And I don't believe he was ever such a lone wolf anyway.

Agreed, maybe they're his 'support' as looknig at the first few live shows he was really stiff and timid....then on the recent shows he's been abit more, well cheerful and does more.

He did talk a lot about the new VE working as a team, and they obviously did practically everything together. He had been working freelance after he left Velvet Eden, and he was obviously tired of working alone. His reports of the Russian concerts on Myspace never fail to mention the band members, and how he enjoyed touring and performing with them. He also regularly mentions the other band they were touring with, and even the various Russian technicians he met. He is obviously attentive to all, and soaking everything up. The way he talks about his fans is very touching too. He is a weary man looking for people "with genuine, beautiful eyes". He keeps saying he sings while gazing into their eyes.

So obviously his reasons for coming back also have to do with coming close to people and sharing a unique moment with them, things that he was not all that concerned with in the past, when he mostly wanted "to stand out more than anyone".

That's nice, sometimes I do feel sorry for him about his coming back to music as some people have given him crap (now I've said this it makes me totally a fanboy ).

Apparently he is angry with himself about his first show this year aswell, in a perfectionist sort of way (he only mentions being angry at himself).

I wonder if CEEi properly dances or does what L. and Y. do.....which I'm not sure what I would call it.

fugly costumes...i can't understand why VE have dancers
at the beginning i thought that they were going to help (with costumes and acting) the representation of the story of Madame Tarantula

anyway..i like Confession of Mask
but the pv it's not that good, i was expecting something more from VE
dada "singing" with the mask it's kinda cool (even if i don't like his wedding-cake-costume)

There's a part towards the end where Aci and Lilly in a circular room and Lilly has this really nice black/leather outfit. I wish they would have showed more of those parts throughout the PV~

To me, theres less of a narrative then Nocturne but I'm still happy they aren't producing really typical indie PV's (like GPKISM). Its nice and refeshing to see them try and put effort into their work. Sometimes in the PV it feels a bit.. crowded? Since there's 5 in the PV (Dada, Aci, the dancers & Tak) and it seems like they were squashed together.
