Ah, not exactly sure where this falls under. And I'm relatively new here and although I've been a MALICE MIZER fan for ten years, I find out new things every day, so please forgive me for my ignorance, and thank you in advance..?

Just wondering what these things are:
http://img235.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/users/0/9/8/9/aoibaby0614-img600x450-1253087709me0w2l68651.jpg
I mean, it says singles collection, but I bought the singles collection (music box) that looks like the Pays de Merveilles, the one that has Verte Aile/Vers Elle with it, too. Unless this is different. And not a music box at all, maybe. But I'm a little concerned because it's on yahoo! japan auctions for only 300 yen. Heh. Maybe it is just for the cardboard box.

And another, for those who know what box/collection that was, or owns it-- is this the CD that comes with it?

I would imagine, since it's listed as singles collection and is very Bel Airy, but didn't come with the Bel Air-themed singles collection box that I have. It doesn't make sense to have two different "singles collection" boxes, with the same theme even, besides for NC being greedy. With that said, isn't it about time they release Merveilles L'espace again? Maybe with a music-box-snowglobe thing and charge $200 or something unreasonable.

And one last one, just out of curiosity:
I saw this mentioned on a five-year-old thread, so i figure maybe something new has come up about it? Just wondering if anyone has bought this yet:
http://img311.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/users/1/7/3/4/well_trees524-img450x600-1293724061qlgf1824922.jpg
or could elaborate on what it is? Or from whose perspective, perhaps. If it helps, the title translates to "with light and shadow", or something malice misery like that. But I get the feeling it's from an outsider's perspective.

I would love to get these and other gems listed, since I don't have them in my collection yet, but I don't have a Japanese-based credit card, so I can't use the auction site, unless I like, have a Japanese friend do it. I have an address here and everything, but I guess my gaijin-money is no good. ::hora::

In my opinion, It's just the flyer about La Collection des Singles box.

This is the simple version of the Merveilles box. : )

edit : if you want to see what it contains, go on http://www.scape.sc/release.php?id=203

Ah, so it is the limited edition version that i have, the one with the music box. But otherwise, these are the same thing. Thank you for clearing that up.

Unfortunately I got it at a secondhand shop here in Osaka and so I'm not sure if the music still plays anymore. The knob is positioned at an odd angle and proves too hard to crank, but even if I could move it without breaking my fingers, I don't know how much juice it's got left before it kicks the bucket :[
It is supposed to play the cutesy bit from Bel Air, isn't it?

I'd love for the Merveilles collection. They have that at the secondhand store here, but it's $100+, which I'm saving for XA-VAT >_>;

Yeah, the box is supposed to play the Bel-air intro. Isn't it supposed to come with the DVDs too, or is that the other boxset?

It comes with the movie Vers Elle/Verte Aile on one disc, while the other is the disc with all the singles on it. I'd imagine the same goes for the other singles collection, it's just sans music box. But the jewelcases are different; the limited edition one that i bought has two thin jewelcases, gold and silver. Forgot what data is on which disc, but that's not entirely important.

Does anyone happen to know what the jewelcases are like in the non-limited, music box-less singles collection? As far as i know, it's just one CD with the evil Merveilles book-thing on it (isn't it called the "Pays de Merveilles"?), maybe with two discs inside, like the link I posted earlier. But it doesn't say.
(Is one of these considered the "first press"? That would clear things up a bit, too, I think.)

I've been reading a lot of old threads, but I still have unanswered questions, and I fear there are a lot of things about this band that will always remain a mystery, or at least just really hard to find. So I have another question:

What is Gardenia ~de l'image~? Different from the single, but like the Beast of Blood ~de l'image~ is it the music video on both DVD and VHS, and maybe a making of? Did the band just not decide to ever release it? Same with the Gardenia tour and their supposed 5th album with a Beast of/Gardenia concept...? And all those Tetsu era songs I'm still waiting for... ::hora::

It almost seems impossible to know 100% about them and their complete discography, even of the stuff that's been published.

We'll have to wait for the reunion to find out ;)

Although without Klaha any future releases will probably be all new material...

The little girl in me is delighted at the thought.. but it is better to just dream.

How come things like Au Revoir or Gekka were never released as ~de l'image~ on VHS? Why pimp the Klaha era? (Not like Columbia hasn't been pimping Merveilles enough) Maybe it has to do with whatever is financially in their best interest, or what fans want to buy. We want to buy another album, that's what! ;) I hate playing the singles game!

They did release the "merveilles cinq parallele" VHS (and later DVD) which had the PVs from all 5 singles.

Oh, I know. I have it, too. I just think it would be cool to have Au Revoir on a VHS, with a cool orange autumn-ey box, with the same cards that came in the first press of the 3" single. Or a little booklet with a photoshoot like they did for the VHS ~de l'image~ release of Saikai. I just want more things to take up space on my MALICE MIZER bookcase ~de l'image~ XD
