I started Splinter Cell: Conviction last night and played it for like 7 hours.

Man, I forgot how much I love that series. Can't believe I waited so long to play this one.

I've played the same game for over a year now >.> 4 Heroes of Light and I reached the final boss tonight, Chaos and... I'm sooooo stuck T_T
The first 2 ones were okey but the last one with the 3 arms...killed me...hard. It took like 1000HP damage and my characters doesn't even have that much HP so I don't really know if I want to cry or laugh. I can't level more and I can't find any stronger equipment or armor. Has someone here played this game from hell?

dropped BB and am devoted to KOFXIII.

Very rewarding game with a pretty tight learning curve, but i like it.

Also bought FFVI on PSN for like the 371785683475th time.
Squeenix can take my money. I'll never get tired of that game.

Got Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed: Revelations as well as Bioshock (I've always heard how amazing and perfect Bioshock is XD) for Christmas.

I'll start with Brotherhood first and then Revelations and Bioshock. :D

Good thing I just finished Fable 3 last night although I was a tiny bit disappointed with the ending. It wasn't as great or mind-boggling as Fable 2, but it was still good. But I did get all sad with the Walter thing XD

I loved the whole Spire experience in Fable 2 *sigh* Now THAT game was a real adventure. I'm not sure what it is about Fable 3, but the main storyline didn't seem as connected or deep, at least after you become king/queen. There are a lot of cool things, choices, and areas introduced in Fable 3, but it just didn't grab me and I think it has to do with the storyline.
Also, I didn't even want to be friends with the villagers (unless to get achievements) because I'd always have to do some quest for them, and that was annoying. And I miss the fact that my dog had a personality :(

And oh my gosh, repairing houses was so tedious. It's annoying when you own every building in the world and have to make sure they're all in top condition or then you lose profits.

Fable 3 was pretty shitty compared to the other two. I still had fun with it but I had no desire to play it a second time, which I always do with games with morality systems (one playthrough bad/one playthrough good).

The combat was more fluid and fun but like you said, the relationships were annoying and pointless and house repairing was crazy tedious.

As for the story - eh, I don't care. I only get very mildly interested in the story of even the best games. Cutscenes are more an annoyance to me than anything. (I never skip them though because I do need to know what's going on and what I'm supposed to be doing. Except for FFXIII. I had to start skipping cutscenes about halfway through because I just could not fucking take it anymore). For me, Fable is primarily about humor and the occasional legitimately creepy moment and Fable 3 had both those things.

I'd give it a 3 out of 5 and the other two 5 out of 5.

So why do you think Fable 2 is better? XD I can't place my finger on it, but I loved the social interactions more, the fact that you can have more than two kids, my cool dog, the economy system, etc. I would definitely play it again, but I can't see myself playing Fable 3 again despite how much I love being queen.

As for the economy, I enjoyed it more in Fable 2 than in Fable 3. In 3 it seemed that the only reason I was buying houses was for my personal gain, not for the betterment of the towns (which leads to better items and better people). I do like The Sanctuary though, the ruler aspect, Aurora, graphics, and some other things I'm probably forgetting now.

Ahh, I really take storylines into account XD That's why I love Assassin's Creed so much since it's complicated and has to do with actual history ::batsu::

I felt that the ending for Fable 3 was too rushed and sudden. I still don't understand how the Crawler came to be or why he wanted to do all this, it was kind of weird. I mean, I raised millions in order to save everyone and not be a tyrant, and it was over so quickly XD I don't hate it, but it just didn't impact me as much as 2.

If they come out with any more games, they NEED to still have Reaver in it. Reaver made 3 totally better.

I'd agree with all those reasons for preferring 2 including not entirely being able to put my finger on it because I played it a while ago and mostly what I remember about a game is just whether or not it was fun and how much I replayed it. 1 and 2 were really fun and I replayed them both at least once. 3 was somewhat fun and I didn't replay it. That's basically it.

Edit: I care about atmosphere and setting way more than the actual story but it's the story that creates the atmosphere and setting to begin with, so in that sense the story does matter to me.

Yeah, I haven't played 2 in a while either (last year? Don't remember), so maybe I'm just feeling nostalgic or something. But I do remember it being exciting and seriously going "NOOOOOOOOO" when my dog... I can't even say it *sniff sniff*

::meev::

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is AMAZING. I'm having such a fun time XD One second I'm having sex with Caterina Sforza and the next second a cannonball flies through my window. Oh man. The first 10 minutes of the game right up to when they put the game's title just made me go "::squee::" as it was totally awesome. I'm already so involved with the story, I'm a nerd.

Ahhh, I love the new systems added, enemies are harder, the music and graphics are beautiful as always, and I can actually ride a horse in the cities now, haha. I didn't miss the puzzles though -_-

Oh and I never get tired of the Italian accents. ::batsu::

I never got the hype about Portal.

Friend gifted me P2 on steam.

What can I say? This is some fun, frustrating and downright addicting stuff.

GlaDOS is a salty bitch, though. It's hilarious.

Got a bunch of PS3 titles as Giftmas presents, as well as 2 PSP titles. Played a little bit of DMC4, Heavy Rain, and Persona 2 Portable so far.

Currently playing Shadows of the Damned. Raunchy and fun shit here and I love Garcia and Johnson sfm. Even more win on Yamaoka's soundtrack for this game.

we are the gravediggers! oh-oh-oh!

Playing Angry Birds. But I'm sick of it keeping crashing whenever I press my phone's home key :( but it does the job of keeping me entertained.

Playing Final Fantasy XIII-2, very good so far, loads of extra content (but little story XD), trying to get 100% completion as I did with XIII.

Oh man, I got about 3/4 of the way through FF-XIII and stopped... I'll pick it up again at some point... I've been playing XIII-2 since December, but it looks so pretty that sometimes it's easy to forget there's a story in there somewhere o_O (I THINK there's a story in there at least... ::batsu:: )
