It's official now :D
Salome's composed by Iori (cocklobin's guitarist) and arranged by Misa
B-side's composer is Misa
There are 4 expected songs, one being Salome's voiceless version, and the other 3 are supposed to be "new" but being Misa around, I'm assuming a remix of Salome or something like that ::hora::

And you were right Koji, it is based on Wilde's play "Salome" - I would be tempted to see that dance of the seven veils actually. Or rather, Kaya's interpretation on it.

Did anyone notice that he is playing with one of Kozi's session bands for this tour?

At CDJapan it says "SALOME [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)]" And has the same price as Vampire Requiem... Hmmmm.. Wonder if it is really true.
Vampire Requiem is in a cardboard sleeve.
Would be awesome if you get a cd + mini LP in a cardboard sleeve.

I think "Mini-LP" refers to the packaging rather than the format, sadly. As much as I would adore him doing a vinyl release, I highly doubt it, especially for a single - and their estimated 80g is way to low for an LP anyway, even a mini one.

I think by Mini LP they refer to the length of the CD, which is less than 20 minutes, a maxi-single you'd say. A real LP would cost a lot more than 1800 yen XD
Btw, Vampire Requiem was in "Digipack", a cardboard sleeve is quite different from it and a much simpler packaging.

Ninja Edit: btw, he's said that on May 1st he'll release pics of the new look as well as a PV for SALOME, but I'm not getting cheated again, by PV he's definitely saying a short clip just as he did with VR XD

"VR" Did not come as a digipack. It came as a kind of cardboardsleve.

This is a Digipack (Like Perfect Garden) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digipak

I think CDJapan means that the cardboardsleve is in the size of an mini LP 12 or 10 inch. I know gackt did release sacd and had this kind of packing.

I also found this information http://www.minilps.net/mini-lp-replicas/what-is-a-mini-lp/

Well we only have to wait and see XD

There's always extras on every release ;)

@Mushi you're right, it didn't come with Digipack, my bad, dunno what I was thinking when I wrote that. Anyway, what's important is the 'inside' and not the packaging, right? :P

AGREE!! XD

I think the packing is like the same as VR. one pocket = cd single and the other pocket = PV dvd. I'm most curious about the songs. I'm hoping for 3 new ones and one instrumental as I got it from Kaya's website. I hope they are in style as in VR :D

Since VR was entirely composed by Hizaki, its unlikely it'll have all the 'real' classical instruments, but Kaya did say it'd be a continuation of the 'gothic' style from VR, so fingers crossed! I'm just pleased he isn't waiting a year between singles like he did with Ophelia/Awilda.

@Mushi you think there's gonna be a PV for a single priced at 1800 yen, when VR was priced the same, and having both the same number of songs, it didn't come with a DVD, really? XD

@Manneking SALOME's described as having a "trance sound" so classical instruments are pretty much out of the question...

He showed the pv and performed the new song at his tour Final 3days ago. It's the bellydancing Kaya single.

So it's actually a full PV, or just a short clip?
I was expecting nothing else, as the story kinda goes that way if you've read it.
I read he's going barefoot, is that true? I bet he has this tiny adorable feet XD
