did anyone get the flyer for this album with their cd?
I guess I'm in the minority, wanting new takes on the old favorites.Mana wrote:Right now I am about to read your letters and emails on your thoughts of Reprise.
Up until now, when I did new arrangements in several of the previous albums there were pros and cons, but with Reprise I get the feeling just about everything you had to say was good.
Your reactions are so happy.
No, I feel the same way. I love Neo Pessimist and Last Temptation even more than the originals, and I'd definitely be more interested in this release if the songs on Reprise were re-imagined as radically as those two were. I still think this album is great and I enjoy the changes even if at times they are subtle, though.Berserk wrote:I guess I'm in the minority, wanting new takes on the old favorites.
I hope not ^^voixdinferno wrote:Je L'aime is pretty cool, but now I feel so bored about it... hahahah! Is me or it sound like a "goodbye" song? I hope so!
I came here to say the exact same thing. Everything physical is so cheaply produced. If this is what his releases are going to be like, off of midi nette, I won't be buying any more.Blue Moon wrote:Finally got the CD yesterday, had to pay extra $28 for taxes / handling fee. This will be the last time I am pre-odering something from MdM, don't even like the poster.
I can see every pixel on the poster. It's smaller, which makes me feel cheated, and the everything in the book seems so muddled.flowersofnight wrote:How were they cheap? I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary - had that same dank and foreboding smell of darkness, even XD
