The guy in the ::cam:: XD

He used to run a site where he posted his very... enthusiastic live reports from small-time VK lives ::meev::
"OH YEAH! The vocalist was HOT and I wanted to make out with him! But the BEST part of the live was being squeezed into that tiny live house with 500 hot Japanese schoolgirls! YEAH BABY!"

Only somewhat exaggerated XD Lejun met him once in real life and supposedly that's how he really was ::meev:: But he also wasn't shy about calling out the really stupid bands out there, of which there were many. That opened my eyes to reality, let me tell you.

Oh...when I was done with the concert and assured myself it was one of the most boring things ever seen (except for night breed), and went on to the extra material, THAT GUY made me feel so ::meev:: ... that was just the icing on the cake. I've not seen Dix Infernal since.

@Voixdinfernal: your English makes me want to gouge my eyes out with the corner of the Dix Infernal DVD case.

Yeah, it's certainly better than my...anything but English.

Re: Abraham Lincoln Vampire Slayer - I haven't seen it but I'm far from shocked to hear it sucks.

I'm just kidding. I don't really care. It's amusing more than anything.

I saw it~ For what it was, I actually really liked it. If you go in thinking it's going to be a masterpiece you're wasting your time, but other than having terrible pacing issues and a plot that made little to no sense and having a ton of plot devices that added nothing to the story, it was one of the most entertaining movies I've seen this year. Vampires getting decapitated by bookshelves, Abraham getting hit with a flying horse and brushing it off like it was a futon... Oscar worthy it was not, but I really had a blast watching it d(^___^)

But then again, I love B-Horror movies like "The Killer Shrews" and "The Brain that Wouldn't Die", so...

Right, me too, don't get me wrong. But usually B-grade movies have that cheap feel to them. This one had like, a budget.

(spoiler) My favorite part was by far when they're sitting at the son's bed and Henry randomly blurts out, "You know. I can raise people from the dead."
Then Mary comes in and gives this impassionated 1 minute speech of, "Do it! I don't care what happens just do it! Cryyyyyyyy!"
...and then they're just like 'k, well that's over. Moving on, a great man once said something'

*someone* just rediscovered Invader Zim. Woot

Hahahahaha, yeah... It was a very high budget B-horror movie and it seemed like it was taking itself too seriously, and it's definitely not one of those movies that completely absorbs you and makes you forget you're watching a movie, it was more "I can't believe they just did that!"

You're right, it had so many things that looked like they were going somewhere big, and then they just kind of... didn't go anywhere? I liked Henry, he was my favorite character. I liked how he slipped up and showed he was a vampire right on queue, despite having been able to hide it the entire time Abe Lincoln was living with him o_O

But dude, Mr. Lincoln got hit with a horse! That is what I will always remember about this movie! And the intense train scene, that was pretty cool, however little sense it made

That's sad. I didn't even realize he was still musically active these days, though. And I just could never picture him having a lengthy career under the "Shaura" banner anyway.

I wonder why he wants to come to the U.S. so much?

My guess is that he made that his "ultimatum". Like, either he'd make it big enough to play in the US after X more months of trying, or quit. He probably figured that he was at a point in his life where he needed to decide between doing band stuff forever or getting a "real" job. Given that his fame never really took off after Moi dix Mois, I could see how he'd be questioning the whole enterprise.
