In its launch, there will be talks of this and that about the time when MALICE MIZER formed in the contents of the autobiography I'm writing,

somewhere except here... ok, a clue... Mexico
Yes, and that girl from deviant art said there were not much foreigners this time... I may think it's because of the M+A non-existence anymore. A friend of mine who went to the DS3 in Osaka -and meet Angelica (Mrs Fujiwara) in there- said most of foreing people who used to be regular at MdM Japan lives are saying it's not worth anymore traveling to Japan if you have not the first row ensured.

Personally, I don't feel like losing interest, i'm pretty excited and been seaching forreports of this DS3 but I can't find nothing, even in the japanese fandom :/

Maybe we'll have a report in next Digi Madousho...

I think that the tsunami and the problems that occured in japan after that also play a role.. at least for french people in general. I've read lot's a people saying that they were posponing their trip to japan for that reason even more than a year after! And of course the price of the yen must play too.

When I compare what I paid in 2006 and what I would pay now I feel bad for considering going back after going to the US this year XD!

That is really strange. I can't imagine what the issue would be. How many fans, even those as devoted as Sarah, actually interact with Mana in a way that could cause conflict like that? The only even remotely controversial thing I've heard about Moi dix Mois lately has been the South American tour that fell through yet again.

EDIT: Maybe the problem has nothing to do with Mana or Moi dix Mois. But I'm not really sure how else a terrible life event would cause you to question your fandom to a music artist. The whole thing is strange. I wish she'd just spill it so we knew what's up.

Strange, indeed. Although, I think if the event involved something Mana or his business did she would have told us. As a warning? Maybe she just had a shift in her interests, and some of the things Mana represents don't correspond with the change. :/

I've known Sarah for 7 years, we're super close, and knowing her, this really couldn't have been just a small or normal event like a tour. (Yeah, it probably is related to Mana in some way, since she really was devoted to him, it's admirable, even when he's frustrating.)

I don't know anything right now since I haven't been logging on MSN lately, and I haven't seen her online when I have been, so I haven't spoken to her in a couple of weeks, but I'm kind of afraid to find out either way. I already have this gut feeling about what it is, oh man. I just want her to be OK and I hate reading about this :( She's a great person and has always been there for me, especially during those times when I feel as if I don't have anyone to talk to. We've been there for each other. But we've also had so many hilarious and interesting times as well. I just want to say that before anyone starts questioning her credibility or dismissing what she's saying as something silly or unimportant.

EDIT: I looked at her blog, which talks more about her feelings, and I'm afraid I'm probably on target, ugh. Honestly if I were her I'd feel the same way about Mana, at least at this point.

Well now I'm super curious what kind of relationship she had with Mana

If what you say about her is true, it must not have been a simple fan/business-related relationship.

EDIT: Does anyone know where the recent GLB and Dazzle photoshoots can be found? People don't seem to be posting that kind of stuff to -scape- lately.

@ PureElegance- thank you for sharing what little you know. I'm so sorry to hear about this. I have never met Sarah, but I feel indebted to her for all of her work on the translations that have been the only thing keeping me connected to an artist (and artists!) that meant a lot to me at a certain time of life. I wouldn't bash her credibility. I'm sure this is serious- at least very serious to her.

Would you be willing to share her blog's URL? (if not, I totally understand.)

Why . . . ? :|

Well thanks anyways for posting the pictures. I think he looks great in the Dazzle shoot and I like his EGA picture (as always), but I'm not feelin' the EGL this time. That bob hairstyle just doesn't work for him IMHO.

Sounds serious. Anybody know what's up?
Well, she said in her blog that it was due to personal issues. Fandom is great, but if you have real life issues to sort out that may be all you care about for the time being. That said, comments like "I don't want to see Mana's face anymore" and wanting to stop translating his blog because of personal issues sounds like she may have been expecting something that a fan/artist relationship can't give. She made a number of remarks over the years that gave that impression (btw, that harsh comment on her blog is NOT from me).

http://monologuesanctuary.blog132.fc2.c ... y-275.html

Perhaps Midi:Nette simply asked her to stop translating. They're known for being tough on copyright stuff, right? Kamijo recently made an entry on his blog demanding that all Versailles related translations, be it magazine interviews, blog entries or even tweets, should stop, which caused a huge outcry. He later retracted it and said that he was upset about magazine translations violating copyright, but the message was clear. Don't necessarily expect gratitude.

Anyway, Mrs Fujiwara's experience at the Moitie event was pretty much the opposite of Sarah's, so I hope people won't start projecting all kinds of evil things into Mana because of Sarah's feelings, the SA tour falling through or whatever "rumours" they heard. It's interesting (but not surprising) that voixdinferno, who always refers to Mrs Fujiwara's blog, chose to ignore it on this occasion. Of course it's in Portuguese but you can read it with Google:
