Mana must have really been close to Kami. It's been over 10 years...

I was wondering the same but I assume that when you watch video the actual vision of the person you loose must be harder to bear.

I've never been one to think much about Kami for his birthday or the date of his death but I've always been touched by the way Mana remembers him every year.

When we have a friend or a relative who dies so young and without warning as Kami did, I wouldn't say that it's more difficult to bear than with other deads but we live as if the dead person was still here near us.
I feel that with a friend and a relative, one dead more than 10 years ago and the other more than 30 years ago and I think about them everyday, and even more the day of their birthday and their death. I even feel sometimes as If I smelt them, as if I smelt their cigarette. I never take a decision without thinking of them. I don't feel that with the other dead persons that I knew, even if they were close to me. With my parents, my ex-husband, I don't feel the same.
In fact, we pass by all kinds of feelings ^^

Using Facebook is very useful for every artist/musician/someone who wants to promote stuff. Well, recently, many musicians join it because of obvious good things such as ommunicating with fans, keeping fans interested in a band/musician, promoting stuff. It is like a free promotion page XD. Far Mana Facebook wouldnt be a space to find old friends. It is about promoting stuff, contacting with fans (or at least pretending to do that). If he wants to keep fans interested in him and his music, he could create facebook page XD. Official one XD

a tiny thing for my old eyes, like the hair. the bangs highlight his face. the white background would wash him out otherwise.

I'm really envious of his legs lol
Hope mine look that good when I'm nearing my 40s.

Oh so. In that same entry. At the live apparently he said Hora's usually wearing hanzubon when he meets him, instead of Halfpants....note the difference XD Hora was all ::hora:: about it afterwards.

personally I'm not a fan of the EGA. It's too normal looking for me.
And I really don't like that belt.

But then, I am of the camp that believes women should look like women, and men should look like women too. Soo....

I think everything looks great in this issue. I love how he's styling that tie in the EGA. Everything about it--the extremely short length, matching the pattern to the shirt, using a cross-shaped tie pin--is rebellious.

I guess it's not hard to be rebellious with menswear because of how rule-bound it is. But you have to be skilled to make something coherent out of breaking the rules, and Mana's really pulling it off!

For once I like his EGL look (the black one) over his EGA one. I wasn't sure at first about what I didn't like about the EGA, but I'm pretty sure it's his hair. I don't like it. It's sad since I usually think he's manly and elegant. I'm not sure if I love the jacket on that shirt either, but I really like the shirt itself. I also like it when men look manly, that's when I like Mana the most, in his EGA.

I love his black EGA dress though, it's adorable! His hair looks really good there and he looks cute. No comment on the white and blue thing.

Actually, at first I thought he was doubling up and wearing a bow tie plus regular tie, but really it's just a big collar XD

Specially the inscription "Ange baillé" ;-) For those who don't speak french, "bailler" means "to yawn" or "to be half-open".
I think it goes perfectly well with him

Love the black lolita outfit, I just get some erotic feeling about it X'D probably because mana never flashes his legs, he always have stockings under...
The Aristocrat picture looks weird, like his make up makes him way to female ._.

Those are long S's, so it's "ange baissé" I think. ("Descended Angel")

The japanese under it is 堕天使 - fallen angel

Thank you for clearing that up. I thought it was ange baillé too and I was sooo confused.

Edit: but shouldn't it be ange déchu? Or is ange baissé good too? It gets a couple google hits so it seems like it's ok but....(that's how I judge lol)

Oh thank you, flowersofnight and faith :) Sorry for the misunderstanding. Those are 2 strange long S's. I tried all the different polices I have on my PC to try to find out what letter it is and I only figured it was 2 "l" XDD

Anyway, you are right, Faith, 堕天使 means "ange déchu" in french. "Ange baissé" seems strange to me. That's why, even with the Japanese, i didn't read "ange baissé" and I was confused and laughed a lot. I don't know how to try to explain it to you in english.
In "ange déchu", there is an idea of decline of the angel, a fall. In "ange baissé" not. It's more the physical position of the angel. The angel is on his knees or duck his head for instance but there is no fall, no décline.
I woudn't write "ange baissé" in this case. You are right ^^ It's correct but not with the same meaning.
I hope my explanation is rather comprehensible XD

Edit : better than a decline of the angel, in "ange déchu", there is the idea of a corrupted angel, the idea that the angel became or is still becoming a devil. The same idea than in 堕天使, I think. In "ange baissé", there is not such a meaning. The angel is still pure. "baissé" indicates just his position on the ground (or in the sky ^^). For instance, we use "baissé" for curtains or the head. Les rideaux sont baissés, la tête est baissée (if we are looking towards the floor).

"ange baissé" would literally translate as "bent down angel". Hardly what he really meant, which is obviously "fallen angel" (ange déchu).

Le franponais a encore frappé!
