Now and finally playing Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together on PSP. Tedious and hard as fuck to understand the mechanics but when you get used to upgrade your party of... 12 people after every battle, it gets a little more enjoyable xDDD

Debating getting a 3DS XL and a bunch of games... Is the 3DS worth it? What games do you recommend for it? I'm primarily getting it for Castlevania and Kingdom Hearts, but I'm welcoming any and all recommendations~

^^ You should get if for the next Pokémon game! xDDD
I don't have a 3DS yet so I can't tell if it's worth it or not, but buying it for Kingdom Hearts and Fire Emblem Awakening is quite worthwile I guess...

After halfway finishing/rushing/rage-quitting Persona 2: Innocent Sin, Persona 3 Portable and Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, all for PSP I'm now slowly playing 'American McGee's Alice', which is Alice in Wonderland but in a creepy/gothic way, or something like that. Hell it's so hard to control the character while jumping...

"Etrian Odyssey", play 'em all ::batsu::
Other good ones: "Kid Icarus", "Tales of the Abyss", the "Mario & Luigi" series, "999", etc etc. Plus most of the franchise things that you already know if you like or not.

^ Thanks for the recommendations! I checked out trailers and I'm going to pick some up soon after I get the 3DS! =-D Kid Icarus looks especially interesting! ::squee::

Last weekend I played a bunch of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. Not the best Castlevania game in the franchise, but certainly not the worst~ I'm enjoying it well enough =-) I'll beat it eventually~ I think I just passed the halfway mark... It has some pretty awesome boss and mini-boss battles!

I've been playing it a lot the past couple weeks... it's one of those rivalry things ::meev:: Must... increase... completion% ::batsu::

Coming soon: "Daimashikyou Garius" for Famicom. Supposedly the inspiration for "La-Mulana", which I also recommend if you have Wii or PC or any of those.

Rented and beat Hitman: Absolution since Resident Evil: Revelations wasn't available last week. I had been curious about the Hitman series and this game wasn't too bad, though I'm not sure how the other games compare. Pretty stylish overall and I think Baldy 47 is really cool.

Started this week: Final Fantasy Reishiki (on the PSP)

Jeezy creezy this game is bloody! It's fun, the music is incredible and it's challenging, but it's extremely dark for a Final Fantasy game~

^I didnt know that was the Japanese name for Type-0 (although I live in Japan...)

I guess you know Japanese but, can it be tackled by people with intermediate Japanese? :S I've been dying to get it but I'm afraid that I won't understand what's going on, and that totally sucks...

Yeah, the official Japanese title is 「Final Fantasy 零式」 =-)

Well, it's a very beautiful looking game, but it's actually pretty difficult... You'll be able to understand a bit with an intermediate Japanese skill level, but they use a lot of very technical words, especially when describing mythology and specialized military operations. Either way, I think it's worth your time to pick it up =-D It's one the best Final Fantasy scores I've ever heard, and the battles are extremely fun~

I guess you should watch the opening cinematic and decide from there if it's something you're interested in =-)

A warning, it's very dark and considerably bloody for being a Final Fantasy game.

I checked many videos but I actually never watched the opening, my epic goodness, this game is really dark! The battles look really amazing and having so many characters to choose is really interesting.

In Play-Asia is at $34 so I might grab it soonish, at least before I have to go back to my country... unless SE surprisingly announces its localization on the upcoming E3...

lord, I loved Type-0.

Also, my wallet and my checking account are about to hate me, but that Animal Crossing: New Leaf bundle is MINE.

The more I play Type-0 the more I love it~~ It's so good!!! They needed to put this on the PS3! This is Final Fantasy done right!!

In other news, best 1-star review for Kid Icarus evah~

There is no blood or anything like that in this game, no real guns either it's obvious this was made for the kiddies and not the hardcore gamer crowd.

I suggest everyone try out the Witcher 2 when it is released for the 360, it is a hardcore rpg and not the anime weeaboo crap that has infested the weeaboostation 3.

Kids shouldn't be allowed to play video games O_O In fact, there should be no games BUT bloody shooting games! Zelda, Mario, Kirby... Ain't nobody got time fo' dat! ::meev::

Rented and beat RE: Revelations recently and it wasn't a bad game, a good port crossover to the PS3.

Received some games as birthday presents yesterday: P4 Golden, Ryu ga gotoku Kenzan!, and Ryu ga gotoku Kurohyo. Currently playing P4G and ahh, it's like seeing an old friend who's been refined beautifully. I've played the PS2 version about 3-4 times so I can spot the changes on the Vita version, some are great and some I need to get used to. Overall, I'm gonna be spending a lot of hours on this. (≧∇≦)

Blegh, E3. I was looking forward to Sega in seeing if they'd release Yakuza 5, but they only showcased a Sonic game and a few other games no one seems to care about. What a disappointment.
Oh, and FFXV. Sure, it's got amazing graphics and is way beautiful, but I've gotten apathetic about it and it's going to take years for me to own a PS4 to experience that game anyway.

I'm too excited for this game for words... I'm going to have to get a PS4 just for this title because I've been waiting for so long~ But I'm also very nervous because I've been looking forward to it for so long, if I don't like it, I'm going to be crushed... (And with the recent Final Fantasy games, there is a good chance that it's not going to be nearly as cool as it looks in the trailers and preview videos...)

Exactly! This is a big reason why hype shouldn't go on for too long imo.

Oh, but a game I definitely have faith in is that new MGS game. I'm a bit sad that Hayter won't be in it, though.

Finally playing Final Fantasy Type-0 and well, I'm so addicted now! Too bad I don't have much time to play for long hours...

Out of curiosity, for those who have played it, which character did you play with most of the time?
In my case I'm absolutely in love with Seven, her combats skills are so cool imo and she's like a mix between Ivy (Soul Calibur) and Paine (FFX-2) and kinda looks like Lightning (FFXIII) xDDD
