Mana in Kamijo's new single

I know absolutely nothing about Kamijo's career these days so I'll wait for someone else to try and explain this, but Mana is in the trailer for Kamijo's new single "Louis" and I couldn't stop laughing when I saw him.. It may be because it's been awhile since I've seen him on video :roll:

I laughed too when I saw him in the video. It was so random and I did not expect that at all.

Oh the tl;dr about Kamijo -

I guess he and HIZAKI had a cat fight and he split from Versailles. Everyone else from Versailles reformed as Jupiter and doin your typical HIZAKI power metal stuff with a new singer. While Kamijo is now going his own solo work. I think his solo material is supposed to be released through his label Sherow Society while Jupiter is signed to Universal or whatever the prior label Versailles was on.

More fun but Kamijo's single is supposed to be released the same day as Jupiter's new album. I wonder if that was intentional but I don't care. Two things for me to look forward to!

I didn't like Kamijo's performance in Versailles since he's not a real power metal vocalist but I still think he's a good singer. So in a project that he has more creative control I think he'll sound great in an environment that will really work and compliment his singing style. Plus I like Mana and the material Mana composes so I bet this will be a cool release.

also, Mana is wearing the same costume he used when he presented Moi dix Mois in that event in 2002 at Moi meme Moitie store.

edit 2: Just read in the youtuve description that Mana just created Kamijo as Luis XVII as the concept for his new solo work xDD

But Louis XVII was Louis XVIth's son who died at the age of 10 in La Tour du Temple, that is in prison! Creepy.

As far as I know, Kamijo is that child, Luis XVII, but in this history, he didn't died! and now he became a singer, that Kamijo.

Well, what we need to know is what's about Mana in this history.

Wow. So, Juka leaves Mana and works with Hizaki, then Kamijo leaves Hizaki and works with Mana. This is playing out rather like a bad soap opera. But I like it.

I guess those hoping for a 4th Malice Mizer era with Kamijo as vocalist must be getting excited.

well, I don't like Versailles so much, this sounds more Kamijo-esque so I hope it will be good to me, or at least nice to hear.

I needed this.

On a side note, I'm confused about the level of involvement Mana has in Kamijo's solo project. I was under the impression that he was just appearing in the video, but not actually involved in the music itself.
