I know that Yu~ki was seen at one of Klaha's birthday parties, and that he wrote lyrics for Kozi, but do you think the members of Malice Mizer retained their friendships after the band broke up? I wonder if they keep in contact with each other in Mana's incredible popularity. I guess what I'm trying to say is that Mana comes off as a super egotist and want to know if that affected his relationship with everyone else? You never hear about Mana showing up at anyone's birthday party or anything.

On a different, more strange note, I had the most bizarre dream last night. Moi Dix Mois was playing at my School's auditorium but Yu~ki was on bass. After about thirty minutes there was an intermission and I saw Mana strip down to his lingere (I imagine he was hot) and also removed his wig. Except... he was bald. wtf. I am disgusted. I can't look at him anymore.
Oh yeah, he wanted to charge be 20 bucks for my friend to take a picture of us together.

I don't really agree with the general view of Mana being egotistical. He seems more... shy, antsocial, and perfectionistic. I myself am exactly the same way about my art, so I guess I can understand his personality (as it appears to me). But then, I also have a very bad habit of losing friends. Not in the sense that I put them off and no one likes staying friends with me, but in the sense that once I lose a reason to hang around them, I forget about them and never make an effort to speak with them again. I can see Mana acting in much the same way. I don't think he was the reason the drifted--I think it was more of a general chemistry between the all, needing to move on--but I guess that his shyness/quietness may be the reason he possibly has lost contact with them...if they've lost contact at all. Who knows? Maybe Mana is still great friends with them all and just doesn't want to broadcast his personal life to the fans.

He really looked so bad without hair? sometimes I wonder... if Mana ever goes bald, how many fans he'd lose... maybe 98%? or 99%... I'll be in that 1% (I know I know that will never happen because Gothic Lolita don't allow bald people... but I mean, when Mana quit the Gothic Lolita thing and start composing 100%, maybe he will get bald... ok, please don't mind me)

On a more important note, imagine the Dix wigs room.... I'd call it "THE BLACK JUNGLE"

If Mana is anything like what Navate said, then I guess I have more in common with Mana than I thought.

I also have a hard time keeping in touch with friends due to my lack of interest in hanging out or talking with them. And I can't really be around a bunch of people (especially ones that I know nothing about), so I can understand if Mana is shy like that and doesn't want to be at parties and stuff.

Also, don't think Mana being much of an egotist and like Navate said, it may be because he's a perfectionist and has to have every little thing perfect, which would explain why he does EVERYTHING himself.

As far as Mana keeping in touch with any of the ex-Mizer members, eh, I don't really see him doing that since it seems like he's preoccupied with his current projects, but you know, he might pick up the telephone and call Yu~ki every once in a while to reminscence the old times... ahaha, you never know :P But does not want that all out there in public if there is a certian persona he wants to portray.

Yeah, I know you like bald musicians ;)

On-topic: I always imagined that it was mostly a falling-out between Mana and Kozi. But really, it could've been anything... after all, maybe they all just got sick of each other after 9 years.

(Mana): "Yu~ki, if you do that thing with your foot ONE MORE TIME..."
(Yu~ki): "Kozi, you left your Legos on the floor again!"
(Kozi): "Mana, stop capturing fangirls, imprisoning them, and feeding them my cat food!"

Ahh, internal band tensions...

As far as I can see from my fan based point of view, I don't think Mana is egotistical in the slightest... Now as for his relationship with the other members, well we can't really know that :? it's kind of personal stuff you know? Just because they don't talk about it doesn't mean it's not happening. I mean, I don't even know who my neighbours hang out with, how am I going to know who Mana hangs out with on the other side of the planet? :P

And I tend to lose friends too, but in my case it's because I'm terrible at keeping touch. Always lost in my own world.

I never understood how people get that impression of him. That's not at all how he comes across in interviews. Also, I was lucky enough to meet him in Paris last year and the impression I got of him was that of a genuinely nice person. And how do we know who shows up at whose birthday party? Probably 90% of that kind of info is false and even if it isn't, Mana has never made a secret out of not being very sociable. Perhaps he simply prefers to phone people on their birthdays.

Me too.........wow. I can totally relate to you on that.....

I don't think Mana is egotistical either. A lot of his actions and pictures that I see and read about are funny, like what he does at concerts and fan-gatherings and the like.....
Maybe he likes more private relationships?

Either way, I think Mana-Sama is a kind and cute person. :)

Hmm...I dunno anything about him. I'm not going to even bother speculating. Though I do agree he's not egotistical (nor would I say he's incredibly popular though).

But in Japan if you have a really good friend and you don't talk to them for 10 years, if they were a true friend you could still call them up and they would go out of their way to help you. I have some friends like that in the US...and I'm that way too. So even if I never talk to someone, once I've said I like them I kinda always will unless we have a big fight. You know, 9 years is a long time to stay together without retaining some sort of connection.

I think Mana's largely misunderstood... personally, I think he seems nice (and way cute ^_^), but a lot of people think he's rude and egotistical... mostly because he doesn't speak in public, and because of line-up changes in Malice Mizer, which he 'led' so he gets all the blame for this or that member leaving... am I getting my point across here? Anyway, all this is IMHO...

I've found that friendships for the most part aren't worth maintaining... and the ones that ARE worth it really take care of themselves n_n

well, i personally don't really care about mana's personal life, cuz it is not our business. But i would definitely be good to see Mana workin with ex-malice members again.

I personally is like dat too, i don't really keep in touch with people i don't see anymore, cuz i don't have the time for it. But wat i also know is that my old friends will always be there for me when i need them most, and so will i. well dats my 2 cents!!!
