And yes, they do play in a classical style, but do they directly copy Bach's (or any other classical composer's) melodies?
They have used melodies from classical composers, three obvious ones:
バロック/Baroque - uses the first half of Bach's Invention No. 4 and also a Beethoven piece.
Transylvania - uses a melody from a Mozart piece (one of the movements from Requiem if I remember correctly).

Hi, some days ago I was looking at pictures of the palace of versailles, and watching a special section "Le petit trianon" I found a picture that made me very known ... This is "Le jardin du petit trianon" which in turn is the place of the cover of the single Uruwashiki!

Okay, you all know this.

Giovanni Ambrogio de Predis, angel in green (?)

The instrument she's holding is a viola da braccio.

Do you remember the cover of the demo "apres midi"
of which there are no official records? ::kisaki::

I think it could be a fake... I saw in auction a copy of Lillie Charlotte (lareine) and it was open, in one of the sheets could be seen the same picture of the cover.

What do you think?

this image was taken from photobucket, not the auction

Checked vs. a real copy of "Lillie Charlotte", and... good catch
Of course, since this CD came out in 1998 you could just as easily say Lareine got the picture from Malice Mizer. After all, Kamijo used to work for them, maybe he himself designed the demo tape and then just reused his work later ::meev::

Definitely could be a fake too. But it's weird that someone would go to all that trouble to make a fake of something no one expected to exist... and then only make one. I guess we'll never know for sure unless it shows up again and someone outside Japan snags it.

I have no doubt they think we're weird too.

Technically they'd be right - they might be weird, but we're the ones sitting here trying to figure out where all their weird stuff came from

Still...if Kozi really was quoting Claude Francois that one time...shame. Shame shame shame.

Japanese people weirdness is ok. Quite predictable to be honest. I say it because I'm married to a japanese person.

But KÖZI weirdness is another level, and I fucking love that!

I dunno... Japanese commercials can be weird, but I maintain that Gushers commercials and the Pizza Hut "Pizza Head" commercials give them a run for their money.
