Közi tweeted about this: ã￾¤ã‚‰ã￾„ã€￾ã€￾çª￾然ã￾™ã￾Žã￾¾ã￾™ã‚ˆã€￾è³¢ã￾•ã‚“ã€￾
Badly translated it reads something like "Painful,, and too sudden, Ken"

Sugiya's tweet was longer: ã￾¾ã￾ ä¿¡ã￾˜ã‚‰ã‚Œã￾ªã￾„ã￾§ã￾™ã€‚ ZIZ&森岡賢コラボã￾‹ã‚‰ãƒ©ã‚¤ãƒ–や飲ã￾¿ã￾§ã￾”一緒ã￾™ã‚‹æ©Ÿä¼šã￾Œå¢—ã￾ˆã€￾ã￾„ã‚￾ã￾„ã‚￾ã￾Šè©±ã￾§ã￾￾ã￾Ÿã‚Šæ¥½ã￾—ã￾‹ã￾£ã￾Ÿæ€￾ã￾„出ã￾—ã￾‹ã￾ªã￾„ã￾§ã￾™ã€‚本当ã￾«æ®‹å¿µã￾§ã￾ªã‚Šã￾¾ã￾›ã‚“。 è³¢ã￾•ã‚“ã￾®ã￾”冥ç¦￾ã‚’ã￾Šç¥ˆã‚Šã￾—ã￾¾ã￾™ã€‚
Which using online translators to get the jist of this, he wrote about it being unbelievable, ZIZ and more joining Ken Morioka live and drinks. Something about collaborating and fun memories. He ends it with rest in peace or praying for Ken's soul.

I'm sure someone who reads Japanese can come up with a better translation.

It is touching to see different artists pay their respect to Ken Morioka.

Was it out of the blue of had he been unwell lately?

I've never listened to Soft Ballet, where is a good place to start?

This is terrible news
A part of me was still hoping for another Sofuba cd some day...
He was much too young.

I guess a good place to start is Ai to Heiwa.
My personal favorite is probably the Engaging Universe single though.
It's got a special version of Engaging Universe that differs markedly from the cd, and a nice mix of Threshold.

As for their most well known songs, I think "Twist of Love", "White Shaman", and "Body to Body" seem to pop up the most.

damnit. 2016 really has lost a lot of fabulous people.
Bowie was sad, but this is just too much. World needs to stop this s***

I still haven't heard minus albums.... ::weepy::
I read some reviews on amazon and it seems some people weren't that pleased with their latest because it was mainly composed by Maki Fuji if I remember correctly.

I dunno. I tried getting into their solo projects and couldn't, so I haven't even tried Minus.
Is it any good?

I have an Ends cd that I listen to from time to time.
(omg though - it was only 1 euro since hte Paris Japanese book-off was closing for good)
And I gave Morioka san's solo projects a fair try, etc.
Not the same.
