Boy, some overseas fans get pretty salty online... at least on Moitie's tweets regarding the no-photos-during-the-show-plz policy. Like, yeah, I get the frustration, as someone who also had to miss out and not have any fan-photos to look forward to, but I'm not gonna get my bloomers in a wad and bitch about the (collective) "Japanese people" on somebody's official twitter/website over their concert/event policies -- just respect their requests and culture; don't be the ugly American/foreigner -- and respect basic concert etiquette (Tbh, there are parts at a show where I can't stand my view to be obstructed by thousands of phones and tablets - real mood-killer! And I know many concert-goers who feel the same way) . Yes, a DVD would be fantastic, but nagging about it constantly just makes you sound like an overgrown, spoilt child.

Feel free to delete this post, it's just something I felt I had to get off my chest. I'm happy for those of you who went and had a blast - if any of you got photos (at the appropriate times) I would love to see them. If you sneaks got any during the show (tsk, tsk) I won't object to a private viewing. ;3
Given that the band and others with them will post photos online, and there were paid photographers also, there will be really good photos available for everyone in the future. So yeah, beyond the artists having some say so in the matter of their images, why annoy other concert goers with a sea of lit up phones held up in the air? We paid money to see the band, not that.

Of course, it didn't help that someone who did take a photo in the venue of the stage, when they weren't suppose to, posted it as a response to one of Mana's tweets.

Preach, baby (though I'm technically guilty - even if the band/staff at most other shows don't give a flying fart. At least I make sure nobody is directly behind me when I do take a photo, and I don't have my phone out the whole danged show, I wanna soak in what's happening!)

I wonder who... ::gaku::

The Au Revoir part of the show sprung from what happened at the end of DS V. They put on a recording of the instrumental version of Au Revoir as they took their bows and then left the stage. Well, everyone in the audience started singing the song not stopping even when the house lights came on. The band did hear us from the side of the stage.

So this time, Mana decided they wanted to play while we sang. Which was very special. So everyone who did, we are all now MALICE MIZER vocalists.

Mana様 just called to let me know that my royalties cheque is in the mail.
Yeah sure, that's cute. But when you're ready to make some real money, look me up at the BMW dealership. We're always looking for motivated salesmen with a passion for quality German engineering ::cred::

Seeing Kami's sticks made it hard not to cry in public. (T ^ T)View attachment 615

Did you notice the drawing and writing on Kami's bag? Mana posted a photo of the bag last year or the year before. I think he wrote that he did the drawing and writing, and he's had the bag for some time. So it was really touching to see it as part of the exhibit. Not sure if the photo is still on Twitter, might have been during the time he was blowing up tweets.

For those who went, thoughts?

I feel like Mana made it out to be so much more than it actually was. ( or maybe the plans to invite the old members fell through so the roadies participating were a sort of plan B )

I feel like instead of so much talking they could of added more songs. I understand Columbia owns the mervielles rights but he did get permission for Au Revoir, Illuminati and Bel Aire. I’m not sure why there wasn’t more from the album (or even the Yuki Transylvania bit) .

While I appreciate the effort and experience overall I feel they could of done much much more for the 25th Anniversay than wht they did do. ( plus hellooo you know Mana is sitting on a goldmine if unreleased footage. He couldnof at least given us something.)

Also it was hella awkward elephant in the room that no one was mentioning Gackt but they played the Mervielles Lespace video for Au revoir but no sound. He was in no photos with Kami.... it kinda felt like they were ignoring his part in the band. ( course some of his could be Gackt not letting them show anything)
