I hope someone can upload the concert on youtube, I cannot buy a bluray player because I don't want to waste money to just watch the only one BD, a BD player in Japan is very expensive, 210000 yen. They supposed to release in DVD format , I have asked them for 2 options, DVD format and BD format, but they refused.

ah, it's 21000 yen for a region free BD player, expensive, that's why I don't want to buy it. I have already spent 17850 yen for the Disc

So has anyone watched it yet?
Yu~ki was smiling ever so slightly half the time... and much more than slightly at the very, very end ::weepy::::squee:: Worth the price of admission just for that.

My brief thoughts on it:
The Moi dix Mois set was fine, but I don't really like all the metal antics they get up to these days. Do we really need someone yelling "YeEeEeAaAaHhHh!!!!!!!!" to hype the crowd up? Nah. Mana's performance seemed a bit wooden, which I suspected was because he was teetering atop those absurdly tall platform shoes XD But he managed to run and dance just fine in the Malice Mizer set, so not sure what was up.
Seth's renditions of "mayonaka..." and "Gardenia" were pretty good - he did a very respectable job replacing the irreplaceable and captured some of the original spirit.

I really don't enjoy ZIZ much at all. Kozi is still a brilliant, magnetic performer but the drunken housewives he calls a band just annoy me. Half the songs were cacophonous noise, sadly including "menou pierrot" which I really enjoyed on CD. The best moments were when they eased up into some 80s-style music and just let Kozi sing and perform.
Getting to hear Kozi's rendition of his own "seraph" was a joy, of course.

The Malice Mizer set was of course the main attraction. The 3 guest vocalists all turned in quality performances... with the one exception of Kamijo's "Bel Air" which fell rather flat. And I cringed when he did this ridiculous one-arm flex to go with "kono ude de"
As far as the staging goes, if you've watched the previous live DVDs you'll recognize a lot of the dance moves and so on. Seems like they were intentionally recreating some of the iconic moments. The "ILLUMINATI" staging seemed rather chaste since for the most part none of the guest vocalists dared to so much as lay a finger on the eminent grandmasters XD

I'm really glad, by the way, that the Sovereign Of Stygian Darkness And Infernal Mastermind decided to upgrade to Blu-ray. In hi-res you really get to see everyone's facial expressions - when they're really into it, when they're watching for a cue, and when they're smiling :) Really gives you a bit of a window into their personalities.

BTW, did anyone notice in the book that they spell "guitar" correctly everywhere else, but Moi dix Mois members, only, play "guiter"? ::meev:: I swear this has to be a running joke with them at this point XD

Oh, and just as a reminder to everyone, let's have no links to THIEVERY here. ::cop::

To read or not to read...
My copy hasn't arrived yet and I'm not sure if I want to spoil myself with the details. The first world problems!

I saw it last night and now I feel like I'm "empty" like if something is "missing". I guess it's because I saw them live last year and the first day the live was more naturally and they gave it their all, whereas the second show, which is recorded in the blu-ray, was performed in a different way, we the public, were quieter and we noticed in the attitude of Mana and the guests ... the first day they were very cheerful and the second day they were much quieter. (Don't know if this make sense, my brain work in spanish)

What I want to say: What is recorded in the blu-ray is like a totally different show to what we live/feel/experienced last year. I do not know if it is the edit and the lack of the MCs or what.

I've been to several concerts that have been released on DVDs/YouTube, but this one really feels very strange. For example, I do not understand why they removed Sakura's dialogues, that leaves me with a bitter taste.

Musically speaking I have nothing bad to say, they keep playing and sounding like in the past. Love their music.

So now, can we upload and talk about the MCs? hahaha ::kozi::
to be honest I wasn't expecting too much because of the self-produced thing

Aaaaah! USPS stil says my package is departing from Portland (and that was 6 hours ago!) I'm literally across the river - What have you done with it? Where are you taking it??
I'm in the Portland area, and mine came on Monday. I've had a lot of packages get random joy rides.

My package arrived in my country today! A lot earlier than I had thought it would. Hopefully it'll get through customs easily.

This was my first time buying something from overseas into the country and it went unexpectedly well to be honest.

Kawamoto Ryusuke (MdM guitar)

Ryux

Machine translation:

Deep Sanctuary VI held at Toyosu PIT in September last year There are many moments that I can not forget, but one of the cheers when I played the promises I met in the middle of the MALICE MIZER at Moi dix Mois on the first day. Cheers, applauses, tearsers ... various emotions filled the hall at the moment of Seth's title call. Ryux

And someone called "guroseii" uploaded a picture of kami to twitter, saying that "it was from the concert slides, and maybe he got into a mess" in a few minutes he eliminated the photograph, the image was kami with the hair around the shoulders.

My copy is still in Japan ::coke::
Mine too.. I chose the slow shipping option, but I guess I keep hoping they feel extra generous and send it earlier than expected. It's really killing me seeing everyone receive their copies and not getting to watch it yet!

My copy arrived to Chile last thursday at the evening. As my pc didn't read BD, I had to buy a used BD player. I just watched the whole concert. The live is great, it's a sweet nostalgic paradise ❤❤❤. I loved Mayonaka, Gardenia and Seraph covers.
