Sadly I think the original quality of the BD is like that. I did what I could to remain as uncompressed as possible while ripping the BD but it just looks like that.
Maybe I did it wrong?
How is the image quality with other owners of the BD? Is it also not that clear?
Oh? it's you uploaded those video on youtube? I play my copy in some stores selling electronics and dvd players, BD players, but the quality is not very clear, it's blur, yours are much more clear. I have some DVDs of Jupiter, Versailles, X Japan, they are all very clear and volume is louder.

do you think you can upload "Beast side" and other Moi dix Mois videos from this BD? I always want to know what the live version of beast side and other songs play by Mana

Wait, so has Mana confirmed that the next album is his last?? I'm totally out of the loop these days.
Oh no that was just wishful thinking. It really feels like M10M is done. What even is Ryux? D+Sect was released december 15th 2010 and then only one new song released after that... it's been nearly a decade.

Watched the video a while ago. Really enjoyed the M10M set but they looked... a bit too uninterested. Not so much Ryux, and Seth at times, but the rest looked really bored. Kinda sad since old M10M live-shows are quite different. And the drum set sounded a bit weird. But they still played flawlessly and I loved their renditions of the MM songs.

The ZIZ set was my favorite. They may be a bunch of drunken housewives but I'd be lying if I said they weren't my favorite drunken housewives. But I personally don't think they're really easy to get into for most people, and even for me it was a while until I started to really like them.

The MM set was amazing too, although some of the performances weren't what I was expecting. But still, they managed to do it pretty well. Really exciting to watch, and the sound mix was a lot better in here, luckily.

Also amazed at how the quality looked so grainy at times, almost like their older DVDs. Not complaining here but it was really unusual.

About the grainy quality... Oh my God, maybe Mana did read my comment about filming the entire concert on technicolor and now the absolute madman tried to mimic it in post.
Maybe the nostalgia hit him and he had to recreate the quality from back in the day? lol

On a side note: (not sure if discussion about the book content is allowed in here but) did anyone else notice Katsuo (Mana's cousin) on the backstage pics? He's also thanked in the book so it's probably him.

Someone just uploaded Ma Chrie in DVI on youtube, but the quality is just 720, it's not clear, I hope someone can upload this and Moi dix Mois 's opening En Lumière, Dialogue Symphonie, and beast side. I also found that someone uploaded the whole concert on youtube, it's also not in 1920 or 1080.

Definitely looks like a regular DVD at best. Lots of unfocused and hazy moments, as if there was a lot of smoke in the air? (There wasn't tho) so the YT videos I've seen look pretty close to the original blu-ray.

I DID!! I wish the damn backstage photos were bigger, as they're the most interesting thing in the photobook.

In summary: I'm disappointed. I still love them, but I expected more.

Hello everyone! After a lot of reflection I made the difficult descision to private my two most recent videos, the full MALICE MIZER Deep Sanctuary VI live, and the APRÈS MIDI part of it. Why did I do it? Two reasons, one is that I'm dead scared of copyright strikes, and risking my entire channel for just a few videos is not worth it. And the second is a more moral question, I felt guilty uploading an entire new blu-ray. All of these people worked so hard on it, and I just put it free and public. It's true that the blu-ray is very, very expensive and inaccessible, but it's still very illegal and disrespectful to do it, especially so soon. It just didn't feel right or just to have uploaded in its entirity so quickly, especially when the Japanese MM store still has copies in stock. If you still wanted to watch it, or want to see it again, I'm really sorry! But I shouldn't have uploaded it in the first place. I couldn't feel at peace with myself knowing that I disappointed the artists, actual buyers and was risking to have my entire channel shut down at any time. Even though the videos were getting tons of views really fast, the numbers weren't worth the risk and guilt. The Bel Air and Gardenia are still online, with links to buy the actual blu-ray, you can use a Japanese shopping service to buy it from the MM store. I cannot control what others are uploading to YT, and I'm not here to stop anyone from doing it, but I want to feel at peace with myself. I might unprivate the videos if enough time passed, and if every copy is sold out. It might be in a month, a few months, or longer, I don't know. I hope everyone can respect and understand my descision. Again, I'm sorry for disappointing everyone... But my channel isn't going anywhere! I'll continue to upload amazing music by amazing artists! Just much older things, so nothing recent or still profitable. And I'm working on my first full album now, so expect to see occasional videos about it!
Thank you for reading.

Christ, Mana has to be the most lazy or incapable live musician out there: drumpads in Kyomu no Naaga (and Illuminati) still not connected, playbacking his vocals in that same track (unlike Közi), and 'playing' an unconnected synth in Madrigal.
Come on man, who are you trying to fool in this day and age?

That being said, I never liked Kamijo, but damn did he own his parts. Bel Air is very well done!
Also, props to the drummer, what a beast, yet still playing with respect to the original drumparts.
Love his Kami look and singing too.

Anyway, my first thoughs after playing the show a few times.

(hate how I visited Japan a week or two after the show, missing it :()

Also, not going to lie, the bro hug at the end, and paying respect to Kami, gave me goosebumbs ;_;

Why just removed these videos if you are dead scared of copyrights and felt guilty uploading those videos from bluray? You should removed all of the videos in your youtube account

So we should go back to sharing poor quality videos on soulseek? Maybe Midi:Nette should upload to youtube instead, and monetize the videos like every other artist/label. Also maybe upload to spotify?

I quite like having Cantavanda's high quality uploads at hand whenever I want to watch them, instead of having to dig out my DVDs from their boxes and risk scratching them or something...

@Cantavanda please don't delete your videos. Unless the Dark Lord of our Wallets specifically requests you do ::mana::

Damn, harsh critiques there.
Why do you say the vocals in Kyomu were playback? Honestly seemed to me that they were live.
About the synths/drumpads I'd think it's less about trying to fool anyone and more about it being a theatrical performance. That's what Malice has always been about, or he wouldn't have been running around the stage dancing half the time.

Also, am I the only one who thought Kamijo did a very poor job with the singing in Bel Air? I think he could have done a lot better, specially considering how his singing has evolved in the past 20 years. He seemed stuck between his old and new singing styles? I didn't really enjoy it tbh..

Excuse the gigantic text, I didn't want to double post...
