Question for you y'all.
Some time ago, Közi was part of a session group with some other musicians who, as far as I remember, only played live concerts. One of the songs they played during these concerts was Christian Death's "Romeo's Distress" from their debut album "Only Theatre of Pain", which happens to be one of my favourite albums. I remember once seeing a cellphone recorded live video of this that was in pretty poor quality.
So I was wondering if any of you know if there's any videos of this in better quality? Or if you remember the name of the session band itself so I could maybe try to look it up myself.

Was it recently? Because the only session band I remember is when Dalle began years ago and Kozi was the vocalist.

You're going to have to narrow it down way more XD

Sooo Közi played a gig with Seiji, and it seems like he played Garnet, along with some solo songs and a ZIZ song.
Is it just me or has he been playing his MM stuff live a lot more often since last year?

Japan, the country of technology, and the place where nobody records concerts with the mobile :(
Cameras of any kind are strictly forbidden at Japanese show. Not sure if that counts for small gigs as well though.

Reminds me of a rather "ugly American/Westerner" (and low-key racist) complaint an foreign fan tweeted to Mana (or one of the boys) in response to their PSA tweet asking/reminding DSVI attendees of Japanese concert etiquette (no pics/recording, etc). They literally started their complaint off with "What's with you Japanese people?" and then just bitched and moaned about how "unfair" they are being for not allowing fans who "came all this way" to take pictures, and basically Japan should be more considerate of visitors' wishes/feelings, as if an entire nation is obligated to cater to the personal customs/wishes of a few foreigners when they visit.

Ummm, shut up, maybe? You should, first of all, be grateful you even have the privilege/opportunity to travel overseas to see your favorite band perform, and also, maybe not be so self-centered and entitled, and respect/embrace the culture and customs of the country you are visiting, you impudent gaijin? (This had to be an American fan.)

Sorry, rant over, back to our previously scheduled Közi-appreciation thread.

Maybe that American was a racist ... or not, and it is also logical to accept the rules of a large concert, of an important group. but this is indie, like the "higeki no bansan" that we have in vhs quality.

... I would like to hear that version of Garnet :3

I've never quite understood the need to take photos during a concert. When I see a band live, I want to watch and hear them play in person. I see no reason to look at them through my phone or camera, especially when I paid to SEE them with my own eyes. Some people film the entire concert with their phones, not even once looking up at the stage themselves. Then they upload that video to YouTube and the audio and video quality is absolutely terrible and the uploader doesn't even know how to film properly. It's like, was it worth it? Was it really worth it to do that shit?

Back in the day, when video recording wasn't as common, people who owned video cameras at least had some knowledge on how to use them and they positioned themselves in a good place to film. Because of this, some bootlegs from the 80's and 90's still sound relatively good.
Shit hit the fan in the early 00's when suddenly everyone had a crappy camera in their cellphones. I remember all those "*BAND* live 2006!" videos on YouTube that all lasted for maybe 20 seconds, looked like pixelated dumpster and all you could hear was the loud distorted base and people screaming. Again, was it really worth it to film it? Was it worth it to put it on YouTube? I guess it was.

Man, I wish I could've been there ::zetsubou::
The thing with Kozi is you never know precisely when it'll be worthwhile to show up though.
