I’m glad there’s any sort of activity but... this limbo situation can’t go on forever. I’m honestly pretty torn about it... anyone here share my opinion?

I feel like this might be an economical issue X) Since Mana isn't doing anything with Moi Dix Mois, and I assume the live last year brought in some good cash :P I think my high school self would be very disappointed in me, but I'm honestly not impressed or that excited

Why do I get the feeling that this one is going to be like DS1 to DS5 where it was mostly the solo projects and a while of Malice Mizer? A bit disappointing considering the past concert.

Can't remember which of my twitter mutuals said it, but they basically speculated that Mana (and possibly the whole gang) is considering a yearly get-together for MM with different guest-singers, and/or possibly new MM albums with a different guest singer. Hmmm MALICE MIZER as a session/studio band? Or a MM o Orchestra kind of deal? I'd be interested in such arrangements, nevertheless.

One can only hope... but more likely, it’s gonna be like the first 5 and the most interesting thing we might get is someone finally bootlegging “Transylvania”. I hope it isn’t like that though... can you imagine how people would jump even on a single new song?

Yeah right, Mana can't even get out the next M10M album where all of the songs are already written XD
I sort of suspect that the fanbase might have shrunk enough that any kind of release won't be profitable unless you charge $150 a pop like with the 25th Anniversary special.

What I want is a rewrite of “Itsuwari no Musette” (that song has such a great idea and such poor execution...) and a proper recording of the live-only songs. Then I can die happy.
Whaaat. I absolutely love the original version X) I'd like them to record the old demo songs, would love to hear Sadness in good quality, as well as Lafflesia.

For sure I will not travel again. It will be just a session of MALICE MIZER, not like DSVI. Mana neither Yu~ki tweeted using the word "MALICE MIZER" in their announcements, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The MdM fanbase in japan is roughly 300~500 peoples. The band isn't popular, because there are a lot of american fans who think MdM is still a big act. Saturday and Sunday shows had 200 attendees every day.

And for MALICE MIZER, I still love the "band" and what I saw last year, but not the bluray that lacks the "magic" of the band.

I'm not sure if I want "new" MM albums.
Remaster and inedit releases would be okay ::teef::

This! That a good idea!

Well, seeing as it is nigh impossible to get Gackt or Klaha involved in whatever they end up doing for DSVII, I would love to see Juka make a comeback to this. Recently he has stopped posting karaoke clips (including MdM stuff) via Instagram, but I bet he would bite *if* Mana threw him an invite.

I feel like I was missing something, is this the limbo that R/O was referring to?

I really wanna go! Gonna seriously plan on it since I really regret missing their reunion this year (although to be fair, the live just so happened to land on my busiest time of year). But I feel like there's no excuse now that I'm making a bit of money (but also fuck the very high cost of living) ::cred::

Kozi could do all the vocals and make a mess, I don't care. Juka would be nice too (I forgot the karaoke stuff!) Hell, bring on Kamijo again. Or Kaya.

If all else fails, Grandpa could use a nice phonecall for Christmas....
I can get you a phone call with Mana for only $100.

Having Kaya (and Hora too) would be pretty sweet. Honestly- and it hurts me to say this since I've much respect for his work- I felt Kamijo's DSVI set left a lot to be desired. His stage presence was amazing, though I felt his vocals did not coexist well with MM's songs, so I would not mind if he stayed out of DSVII. ZIZ was actually a pleasant surprise in comparison and I would love to see more of them.
