I would not mind if he stayed out of DSVII.

::gaku::

Yeah, Kamijo could've really used a warm up because with the way he was sounding... whew. I still want to believe that he can do it!

Yeah what the hell--this feels like extortion. Is it because of the Olympics? O_o But that's a month after DSVII...

I've only seen Kozi do the vocals live, so can't say the other guest vocals was bad, BUT, I feel like I'd rather have Kozi do the best he can than have Kamijo etc do MM songs.

Malice Mizer had lower-range songs? I don't seem to recall any of the previous singers being anything lower than tenor, except maybe Gackt, (but he was/is pretty versatile when it came to hitting the higher notes)?
Maybe some of the Klaha-era songs? Maybe transpose the keys or pass them off to Seth, give him something to do :p

Some may recall Kozi has already covered an acoustic clip of Garnet (which I believe is floating around somewhere on these forums), though I don't think most of the Klaha-era discography would suit his vocal range. Heck, I don't even think Gackt could do Klaha era MM songs justice.

That being said, I think Kozi -may- do well with "Sadness" for a unique take, otherwise I'd be down with DSVII adding "Brise" back to the set with him as the vocals. It's his composition after all, and besides that, though he's mellowed out some, Kozi still does his best with high-energy songs.

I think Mana should just let Juka sing all the MM songs this time around. He already sounds like a Gackt/Klaha hybrid anyway and he did a lovely job with all those karaokes a while back.

Whether Kozi or Juka, I'd be happy with either rising to the challenge. Especially with how dissatisfied Juka sounded with his general life (since his birthday post via Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/p/B3LLGG8J3Cz/ ), I think returning to the stage would be wonderful for him and his fans. Again, Mana would ultimately have to give his blessing, but if they're really looking to make better $$$$... I mean, it's really obvious what needs to be done here.

I realized the Olympics is a few weeks after that so it makes sense...
